I have the TDI tuning box from the UK and it’s very impressive! Very noticeable power gain. I believe the best box is still the jb4 which unfortunately don’t make for all manufactures. But they do make one for the mustang eco-boost 2.3L.

No, it just modifies the signal going into the ECU.
