Yes, in principle, any increases can occur regardless of whether couples are of the same sex or different sex.

@@dsquintana wow. So I've been getting to know a female friend recently. And I can totally feel the affects of oxytocin occurring. Relaxes and calms me, feel very tranquil. Feels like a magic potion almost. Also notice she's calm as well. And she will gaze at me too as we are saying are good bye. Guess that's the oxytocin making us feel that way? It's really a new experience for me. Feels amazing
