I just got this the other day, not realising it was a bootleg, but I love it nevertheless. Something I would have liked would have been if one of the heads had no mask. I do have an issue with the claws on mine as well, they like to pop off if you so much as look at them the wrong way and you have to fight with them to get them to stay on mainly because they don't have the central peg; the deep one.

hello sir, so i have been collecting the knockoff/bootleg revoltech figs for a wile and i thought i wold pass on something i picked up. you can buy bulk bags of revoltech joints on eBay, i swear a quick swap of the joints will do wonders lol

A good way to tell between fake and authentic - the authentic wolverines closed mouth face, the mouth/lips are not painted with a thin black line. The sculpt of the mouth casts a natural shadow to create the line of the mouth, along with some very subtle shading

I honestly think that these bootlegs are actually factory rejects or figures that don't pass the QC issues..why would someone set up a factory, machinery,staff,distribution etc for a $15 price outlay..??..think about it..i have the original and to be honest this is nearly spot on for a fraction of the price.

I think they just copy rhe molds or even use the original factory machines and inject cheaper plastic in them. Probably copied molds, because some finnese in the mold is lost.

Just got mine today, the difference between the authentic and the bootleg is that, the authentic revoltech has some soft clear plastic bits on each joints that you need to remove or rip off right from the joints of the figure. The plastic is just like the one which sits on the back of the figure where it is housed in the plastic clam shell. The bootleg has no plastic on each joints.

From what I can tell, the original version has airbrushed arms. Also, the yellow on the majority of the fig is more matte than it appears in the video. Just what seemed to stand out at a glance, hope it helps.

I just got my Knock off figure today and I’m liking him a lot so far, my only problem is that his legs can’t move up and down or side to side. Overall great figure for a knock off! Just need some help with moving the legs up and down

Real talk...the bootleg ones are great if you understand how to loosen the joints properly. I have a magneto and a deadpool. 30 bux each and serves their purpose. and if you know how to work a Dremel, you can use aftermarket joints.

There's revlotech joints on ebay just type the types you need and you will probably find them or just type revlotech joints in on eBay

The older knock offs were such as the one he reviews felt more like officals ones which did not make the cut and had defects. The newer ones such as the one you probably got are actual copies. I also bought a bootleg revoltech wolverine around 4-5 years ago as well it was real nice till I accidentally broke it. Bought another about a year or so ago, same thing happened. Knee joints were bad and broke as well.
