I don't think you're supposed to use every cape piece all at once. I have the official figure and I only use about half of the cape for when I pose it and it looks great.

I use Babybel wax to keep fit-in replaceable pieces like face sculpts, hair sculpts, etc. from falling. Worked really well with my Kenshin revoltech. NOTE: Watch out for color transfer though.
