First, make sure that you have enough signal on your already fixed dish. You move ahead with this steps, You scan the decoder, after scanning you need to upgrade and after upgrading you call an office number for your activation. Be sure of the device to replace. Change the remote to check. Or just sent the Decoder plus the remote to a nearby DStv office / Retailer for check up.

The Dstv Catch Up is available on the Dstv decoders with PVR functions (Dstv Explora) and you can also get it from Dstv Now App or visit Dstv Now web: now.dstv.com If your decoder is not capable is not possible dear. Thanks

Check the cable at the back of the dstv decoder. If there's no signal after checking the cable, go straight to the satellite dish. That's where the problem is coming from. You can seek the help of a professional satellite installer if you can't adjust the satellite dish to get the signal back.

Adjust the satellite dish to get enough signal quality before you can proceed to scan. First connect the signal cable at the back of your decoder to check. 🙏🏾

If only you can figure out the settings menu, on the settings menu page, come down to the last option, which is reset to factory default. Press OK on it. After resetting it, there will be an option on the screen to select a preferred language, that's where you have to select English.
