Francisco, Read Psalm 91...God will protect you under His mighty wings & He will command His Angels to guard you so that no harm or evil can come near your tent. It is my favorite Psalm. God also said "He would never leave you or forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31, I think). In Exodus 14:14, He said, "Be still & know that I am God", meaning that you need to take a deep breath, be silent & have Faith that He has everything under control. Sometimes that's the best thing to do...nothing ! Stop thinking, stop worrying, stop trying to control things & just sit there & know in your Heart that He is carrying your burdens & fighting your battles. What Jesus meant by "those" is the nation of Israel. In the gospel's recounting this teaching of Jesus , you have to remember that He was speaking to Jews about Jewish things. Every time Jesus mentioned "the fig tree" he is talking about Israel. Remember when he cursed the fig tree because he didn't find any fruit on it? That was a metaphor for not finding "the fruit of righteousness" among His own people Israel. In Mathew Jesus again refers to the fig tree...Israel. We can always learn from this as Christians...but we will not be here to see much of this.

Doctor the Matthew 24 is a message for Israel only. As Matthew 24:16 says "let those who are in Judea" The word "Judea" is referring to Israel only. Only those who are in Israel can see the coming of the Lord God Jesus Christ in the sky. As Matthew 24:30 says "all nation of the earth will mourn." Notice the word "nation". Not all people can witness the coming of the Lord God Jesus Christ on that day because in Luke 17:34 that says " on that night two people will be asleep: one will be taken and the other left." Wrong, Its from when Jerusalem becomes a Jewish state again which was in 1948. Generation of man is 70 or 80 years. If there is but one person still alive from that generation the time is not yet. One person from that generation might live to 110 years old. Might have 30 or 40 years left still.
