The tables have turned . Everyone in the industry shows respect to BTS because they know without BTS they are not gonna profit at all . So they show respect which may be fake but anyways . Who cares how BTS gets treated in Korea . Every country will welcome them. Groups from Big 3 in Korea always got special treatment like Blackpink and Exo . They were successful since the day they debuted. But BTS earned everything themselves without the help of korean media . Hence they are salty and silently waiting for BTS's fall

I guess some people might come at u so I'm gonna say it as an fellow army... As for Exo they did get back lash from the knetz & some elf & sone.. & called failed copy of super junior & snsd... But soon got success coz they r talented & with proper media coverage.. But whatever Exo were popular even before their debut (perks of being a group from sm).. As for BP they were kinda promoted like "2NE1 but with pretty faces" (I disagree with this on a whole new level).... But as they are from big companies nobody dared to disrespect them(but many times their company treats them badly) ... As for BTS I agree with you! Those Korean media, reality shows really disrespected our boys so many times that they stopped going.. & know those people r like begging BTS to attend their show for good ratings.. Fake people showing fake respect. They r representing Korea & some still hate them for balant reasons... Disappointing.. I'm so proud of BTS & also as an army... Hi, I'm a Korean Army living in Seoul, the first thing i do every morning is checking web if there's any BTS news came out overnight on celab or music section, there was only 1 article even on next morning of first black swan on James Cordens show, short article with 1 photo. Reporters dont write many articles or news about BTS, they're all under influence of those big 3, Moreover N**** (which is like google that everyone use in Korea) rarely post it. Rumor say they cut it out cuz YG is their second biggest stock holder. Literally sooo hard to see them on news, compare to what they're doing in USA at the same time. So big difference from the time Psy(YG) made a hit. I'm sick of it. Big 3 is hoping for BTS's fall definitely. Making IDOL is business, more investment more output they have to harvest but BTS broke that rule and taking things (money & trophies) that should be theirs, so jealous and deprived. SO WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT AND POWER MORE, ALL INTERNATIONAL ARMY. Still there's no justice on media here for BTS i think.

I think the opposite will happen. BTS and all other BigHit groups will be supported by ARMY in the future, and the Big3 can never keep up. Bighit's current valuation is now in billions, and it's preparing for IPO. BigHit will be bigger and will be richer than the Big3, mark my words. The BTS thing is only the start. There's still more idol groups that Bighit will launch in the future. If i were Big3 right now, i'd be shaking and change their strategy.

Reading this after someone told me a few days ago that SME (YES I AM NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT) was probably now one of the best companies to be under as an idol.... It made me SO angry. I am Army, but, down in my heart, i was first a Cassiopea. Many of you never heard of them or know who they are. They were once the biggest fandom in the world with a Guiness record and all. We were... wow. Then SME broke DBSK (TVXQ) and i STILL remember EVERYTHING, every article, every accusation.. it tore cassies apart... some remained fans of the two that stayed and blamed the other 3, other followed the other 3 and tried to support them as best they could and some still believe in OT5.... I know just how powerful they can be, just how much they can ruin and NO, i'll never forgive nor forget. SO YES, i do believe they are STILL like that. Don't doubt for a moment they will do it again because, to all of you who still think they changed: the ban on JYJ is still effective to this day. Yes i am a proud Army. BTS won my heart why their songs and powerful lyrics and voices, they touched my heart. I won't let SME destroy them too. Count me in

At that time, when u r talking about divide & conquer, it's a bit true. Going after RM & Suga, saying they wasted their skills as idols.Complimenting Tae for his acting skills & urging him to do activities outside the group. Telling JK could do better as a solo singer. Asking for individual member to represent their product instead of a team. Notice how BTS reacted. Unlike many other idol groups, most promo that BTS did were never solo; Puma, Hyundai, LG, VT, Coke & many more. Creating more solo songs & covers but still within BTS context. Tae urge everybody to love all 7 & JK constantly reminding everyone how much he loves his older brothers. And the famous one, a journalist (I think) talk bad about Bang PD past & tell that BTS would leave BigHit to choose a better agency. On a TV show. Watched by many. Shortly after that, BTS renew a 7 year contract with BigHit. Understand that second contract renewal under Kpop are usually 3-5 years more. BTS choose 7.

I won't name any fandom names, but in 2018, a large group of them teamed up with ACTUAL NEO NAZIS to try and take down jimin. there's so much, but we just gotta continue to defend and support the boys and make sure that they can achieve their dreams.

BTS is now well respected in Korea and has touched grounds that suprassed their fellow kpop idols such as being the only idol group to win at KMA (it's mostly Korean singers theire cos kpop idol groups arent the main music trend of the general overall public on Korea) and BTS also was recognized as a South Korea economy booster which speaks volumes on how they literally helped their country in that big of a scale. The problem there in Korea is now just mostly bitter haters because BTS really came from a small company and toppled the kpop heirarchy (groups under the Big 3 companies are talented too, please don't degrade them as just privileged) but I'm sure you understand how hard it is to climb at the top and break a solid tradition. In the US it's mostly racism and judgemental + ignorant people but BTS will also overcome it. They will not be falling down anytime soon. Love Yourself, love myself 💜

The issue with the big 3 is a real thing...it's sad. I don't blame the groups and idols or trainees...they are just doing their job and chasing their dreams. It's the heads of the companies. And Suga fired back, in a song, by saying he was offered to go onto Show me the Money and he turned it down. If you didn't know it - BTS still lives together and V has, in the past, said he wants to always live together. Jungkook grew up with the other members and figures he took some of their traits...that they helped shape him - he's got parts of them all in him. BTS is a family and BTS and ARMY are family - one big family. We purple each other. ^__^
@cindylepo67844 жыл бұрын
This is a little old but it literally took them years of perseverance, hard work and faith. PD Bang never gave up on them even when they had nothing. BIGHIT almost went bankrupt 3 times in the beginning. It's sad it took Korea until about 2017-2018 to appreciate them. There is no big 3 anymore and the landscape of kpop companies has really changed. There is BH at #1. And when I say #1 I mean by a huge margin with literally 1 group. These other companies have thousands of idol recruits training and many groups and BTS surpasses them all. One factor also is the old big 3 treated their idols like disposable entities. Groups were formed and disbanded regularly...but BTS was it for BH. All the company efforts were in one group. And he treated them like a family as they lived like one. To this day the boys deeply respect and love him. They were never disposable to Bang. .and you know the boys had to know that. I can imagine it gave them a lot of confidence in themselves. They have come so far. It took them years to win a tiny weekly music show but once they did they put their foot on the us and never let up until they took their 8 wek break this summer...we're talking in 7 years ...12 albums (full and mini...maybe 13 now?) Over 300 songs amd6an insane amount of fan content like Run, BTS, Bon Voyage, Summer and Winter packages, Bangtan Universe, Festa, Muster, solo work, mixtapes, endorsement deals, tours, charity work.....its insane, not to mention having a footprint on 4 continents! No one works harder than BTS. When people ooo and ahhhhhh over other groups I have to laugh..no one has the immense discography. And when you get to know them you will see they truly love what they do. And they passionately love their fans. Enjoy the journey...there is so much more....

Getting snubbed in Korea... there was an actual Korean news channel segment talking about the rise of Kpop groups in 2018 internationally, and they left out any mention of BTS. When people questioned it, they said that since BTS is more active on the world stage than domestically, they aren’t considered a Korean group. 🤔 so they acknowledged that BTS is successful internationally but at the same time tried to claim that they aren’t Korean because they are successful internationally. By being active domestically, it’s not just touring in Korea, its going on the TV entertainment shows. BTS don’t really go on those shows anymore, at first they did, but I think they stopped because aside from shows like “after school club”, they didn’t like the way they were treated on certain shows. People will say that all idols are treated in those ways on those shows, but I think BTS just didn’t want to put up with it anymore. By ditching those shows, by not playing that game, perhaps those entertainment companies or tv networks felt snubbed by it. In any case, I believe BTS wanted to just focus on their music, and for entertainment shows they just make their own because it’ll be on their own terms.

@1obsessionafteranother7944 жыл бұрын
Kwon 2kim yes, I’ve been seeing a lot of that as well. I can understand fans wanting to distance BTS from Kpop because for the general public especially in the west, but also at home in Korea, “Kpop” and “Kpop idols” has a negative image. Creating distance from “Kpop” has its good and bad points. Personally, I think it’s a little disingenuous to be so adamant in creating that distance because although BTS is proving themselves to be different from the rest of Kpop, it was still born out of that Kpop industry, and even they themselves do not reject that Kpop label completely. Taking Kpop in its loosest definition “Korean pop/popular music” I think BTS still fits in it but they are certainly pushing the boundaries of what people can expect from a Kpop group. It’s not just the Kpop label that has negative image, just “pop” music in its own respective countries can be seen negatively by the general public for being “manufactured”, “throwaway” etc etc... I’m not completely on board with the agenda of “true artist”, “real artist” being pushed so hard.

Whats really even more interesting to me that the Big 3 has tried for years to break into the US mainstream music industry. JYP even brought the Wonder Girls and Rain to America in hopes they would take off (Not dissing Rain, though. The man is a legend). The only other artist that managed to become a sensation was Psy, with Gangnam Style. So, the companies who have tried for years to become popular in the US are now piggybacking on BTS, a group from a small company, to break into the industry in the US. I’m not saying other groups aren’t talented, I love a lot of different artists in Korea. But I just think it’s terribly ironic that BTS did what none of the companies could achieve before.

roguechevelle Its how the world running. Like BTS or BIGHIT to success, its not easy to become a part of big3. Before big 3 were SM, JYP, DSP. Back then YG was a poor hiphop company too. When you only have one artist, and focus in music, everything is good. But when the company get more artists, more money, music will become business. It will be the same with Bighit too

I love your little story about your dad. Much love to him 💜 My mom who is 70 (I'm 30 something) listens to my BTS ramblings all the time. Since she is a retired Literature teacher, I always start the conversation with a literary piece that BTS has referenced to. She and I love these conversations.

Hi Dad!.....BTS constantly push through and expanding boundaries! BTS, the company staff at Bighit, and us ARMY are a huge family that refuse to give up!

My tears will automatically fall every single times I watched any video about their hardships on the past (and even now they still going through many hardships).. Their brotherhood, their relationship with their Pdnim, all their staff also their love for Army.. I can just said they're 7 pure soul that was trapped in this worst world that only think about money n reputation.. Now all of them can see how far BTS had fly.. Also BTS doesn't need Kpop but Kpop need BTS..

DT, just finished watching and man I understand how you feel. Its great to hear that your Dad is along the journey with us, too. I have been in the ARMY for about 9 months now, and I'm no longer surprised at how diverse a group it is. I never thought I would be sharing this level of excitement about a musical group with teenagers & elderly alike from across the globe, but here we are! One thing I wanted to clarify: In the vid, the tweet in response to B-Free's comments against Suga & RM was actually Mr. Bang defending them. He was politely saying that he understood hip hop is about self expression but B-Free chose the wrong time and place to express his feelings about others' life choices. I very much admire Mr. Bang. It makes my heart feel hopeful knowing he has influence in the entertainment industry now. Of course there are still prejudices and obstacles, but he and Big Hit will keep leading by example.

Hello young man, I like your honesty in your reactions and I’m not saying that because I’m only an army but because as a elderly lady I could see how beautiful human beings they’re inside and out, and how passionate they’re about their art,and I think that’s what make them successful in this industry. I hope you will keep reacting to BTS.thank you 💜💜💜💜💜

When you spoke about dividing and conquering it reminded me of how they locked arms at the end of Not Today and also in another video how RM faced them (as their leader) at the end of another video (I'm Fine). They give each other serious strength (too many people confuse these actions with shipping too).

BTS has amazing teamwork and even for things like advertisements Bang PD said that if they want BTS to promote their product it has to be all seven members or they won't even consider doing the ad. BTS has gone through a lot more and this is only a bit of what they had to endure, their debute stage was just a fill-in for someone else that couldn't make to the show and they wouldn't even get a room to wait in and instead had to use the hallway or a bathroom and there were people that would laugh at them there, they were so young endure all this and I admire all their strength they are the strongest people I know. Thank you for the reaction🙏

I've been listening to kpop since high school back in 2008 until now so I can really say that BTS is not like other kpop group. The major reason is because of their musics. BTS really being involved in their arts from the start even before they debut and as a fan you can feel that they genuinely talk to you through their works. This was also possible because they met such a good genuine CEO Mr Bang who were also looking at the same direction as them boys in the industry. There are tons of talented kpop groups with good songs but it all can get manipulated by the political play of companies themselves. So I really hope you continue this journey of listening to bts musics and kpop musics in general because at the end of the day good musics are still good musics. #SpeakYourself😉💜

BTS have always stayed true to themselves no matter what obstacle they face. From the haters, hating on RM and Suga to the struggles they faced by the Korean entertainment industry. Even now they continue to stay true to themselves as they gain more and more popularity in the US. US media keeps asking them when they will release an English album but just this weekend RM shut that up when he said, their music has always and will continue to be in Korean. They will continue to face haters, as we know the US is built on racism and misogyny, but we Army’s will continue to support and uplift them. On another note, BTS have always spoken out on these systems of power (with Baepsae, N.O. Etc) and sending positive messages (of loving yourself), all very radical, which is why I personally have always supported them. All their artistry has depth and meaning to it and that’s what keep Army so invested! Hope you continue to get to know them and their music :)

Anytime you see them on videos where they are just hanging out you notice that every chance they get they encourage and help each other. You see them teaching each other to be better in area's where another one may need some improvement. They have earned every bit of their adoration by being better people and sharing that with their fans.

I absolutely agree with everything you’ve said! I discovered BTS through my daughter about a year ago, but once I heard their story of how they made it to where they are now I was totally hooked! While they are amazing idols .. the fact that they are amazing and strong people/individuals just blows my mind! They have persevered through all the hate from small minded nasty ass people and shown the world through their music and humbleness that they deserve to be exactly where they are!
@KawaiiKitty133 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm a fairly new ARMY and am just starting to go through your reactions. :) I think this also gives an idea of why the bond between BTS and ARMY is so strong. BTS never planned on dominating the music industry, they were just passionate about creating meaningful music that could help their fans navigate the journey of life along with them. This really resonated with people and ARMY got larger and larger as more people were exposed. And it truly is ARMY that helped them beat the corrupt industry and carry them to where they are today. ARMY made them too popular and influential to be ignored. BTS, ever humble and emotionally intelligent, recognize that and try to give back with hard work to make even better music and performances. ARMY can see that and just want to carry them even higher. We've experienced hardship and prejudice before, we can do the same for the Western music industry. (Lol, I've only been ARMY for a few months but the collective memory and experience is so strong that in some ways, I feel like I've been with them for years) And there's the saying, "If you want to test a man's character, give him power." We can all see what BTS do with their platform and influence. Even outside of their music, they have the Love Myself campaign, they've supported BLM, and more. I also love how they often post reminders for ARMYs to wear masks and to stay healthy so we can see each other in person again.

Love how genuine your reactions are! Looking foward to your series of the bts’ members and please react to bts’ contribution to music! Also, I totally agree with you, dividing the group amongst them are the haters’ tactic of bringing them down. When you said about the divide and conquer, in my opinion somewhere they knew that these boys (BTS) would change the history in future and become famous because they had that talent, that is why they tried to do that but thanks to our kings they(those people) were unsuccessful and BTS became what they are now with their TALENT, UNITY, HARDWORK AND DEDICATION. Those people will always try to hammer their success and try to pull them down but its not gonna happen anytime soon. WE LOVE OUR KINGS AND WE ARE GONNA SUPPORT THEM FOREVER AND EVER

the tables have turned now. all year end music shows and award shows for 2019 gave bts the ending stages with minimum of i think 15 minutes. as you saw the mma stage was 37 minutes. they even turned down mbc and went to nyc. mbc may or may not have been salty about it because they did not invite other bighit artists (hmm). now that bts is finally given the stage they deserve, some fans from other groups are saying they should give way and let others shine... smh.. nice reaction btw.. :)

Hi .. You should see SBS BTS 2016 when they cut their performance without official explanation but they still perform even when the show is over only for ARMY who is still waiting for them! You can see from the fancam they performed with full of confetti on the stage that could cause them to fall but they did it anyways. Looking back at their struggles and being unappreciated in the past makes me love them more.

Now y'all honestly I've watched a lot of reactions from DT Parker, but for some reason I didn't see this one at all....but now that I've seen it.... y'all hmmm, I was so emotional throughout the whole video, I had mixed emotions... I was angry, sad, disappointed, wanted to throw hands lmao 😂💀, not surprised but surprised at the same time.... like I was feeling going through it....but I'm telling y'all fr, I'm being honest here...at the part when it mentioned that BTS and Bang PD despite fighting on their own up against the big 3 companies, they succeeded together as one, ignoring the people who tried to divide them or bring them down and stood out more than the other Kpop idols for making that bold move...and my boy threw up those two middle fingers in the air 😂😂😂😂💀... I dead ass threw up my two middle fingers and silently said f*#$ you...f@#$*@### yooouuuu.... y'all bitches can't say nothing now 👆😂😂😂😂💀💀...then I talked to myself and said calm down girl, it's ok🖐️😂 lol....but honestly I am so proud of my boys...they started from scratch, from the BOT-TOMMM literally... I respect that 💯👏👏... however let me be straight with y'all... I don't hate Blackpink, EXO or any Kpop just because they are under those companies, I genuinely love them as individuals, it's just that their companies are bitches and take advantage of them for their own personal gain, which is power.... I know the examples, I see how they be doing my girl Lisa dirty, my girl Hwasa and others I don't want to mention but that's how it is... I'm just glad BTS is different and being real... there are really genuinely talented idols other than them but sadly they're stuck in the cage of the big 3....but anyway thanks DT Parker for this reaction video 🙏💜😊💕💕 always impresses me the way you express your opinions, they're always sensible and down to earth... love you man 😎👌👍, keep it up... A.R.M.Y fighting 💜👊
