This man was lucky. Even though I'm an American I still think he is a decent guy Nazi or not he still was a soldier following orders given. I'm glad he was willing to share his experiences with the future generations. If someone witnessed what he seen and went through they might question their faith in the lord as well . Hopefully he since then has regained his faith but if not it still is his choice.

It also give the round more time to burn the powder increasing velocity its all ratios if you have to long of a barrel then the powders all burned and the longer barrel is just slowing the round down

Don't know how Russia did it but damn, they took on the full wermacht. Amazing!
@ulric8445Ай бұрын
No they didn't if it weren't for the Lend Lease Act and America's boats being touched by the Japanese. Russia would've lost the defense of Moscow and Stalingrad given enough time, they were undermanned, and ill equipped when up against the German invaders until mid-1942. There's a reason why they killed more than 24 million of their own people whilst the opposition lost around half of that. Their only tactic is throwing as much shit at the wall and seeing if any of it sticks, same tactics being used today in Ukraine and once again its causing heavy casualties only this time the Russians are outright losing no matter what they did.

Maybe he saw so much suffering that he came to the conclusion that either god is not real to allow all this suffering or if god did allow it he must not love us. Either way if humans are the creation of an all knowing all powerful god we are just acting according to how he created us. The suffering we inflict upon eachother is directly caused by the impulses that this supposedly all knowing and all good god gave us. The creator is responsible for the created. So either god knew what he was doing when he created us in which case he doesn't seem to care about the consequences and can't be all good or he didn't know and he is not all knowing. God can't be all powerful either because he does not intervene in helping his children not even during the darkest times when ''his chosen people'' are slaughtered by the millions.

the sherman tank Is pure trash. A death trap for EVERY tanker in it.
@Animal_veil233 жыл бұрын
The Sherman was actually a great machine. It just wasn’t meant to fight tigers and panthers, it was meant to fight panzer IIIs and the earlier IVs.
@Johnc2593 жыл бұрын
It was meant for rapid advance. To match the bridges and roads of Europe. No one (in their right mind) believed it could match a tiger. It was easy to maintain and manufacture. Would I want to fight in one? Hell no.

The firefly variant was more effective than the regular one it was more suited for the Pacific
@dustinmiller7317 Жыл бұрын
The sherman was a solid tank versatile and left room for improvement rugged and one of the more reliable tanks of ww2 and later war it was the first to introduce wet storage racks for the ammo reducing the chance the ammo brews up and it had spring loaded hatches so the crew could bail out faster heck the Israelis were still using the sherman in 1970 all be it they managed to stuff a long barreled 105 in it all in all a good tank that could be modified to fit all kinds of rolls fairly easy
@ulric8445Ай бұрын
@@timthewarlord2304 no it fucking wasn't, you are genuinely stupid and haven't read any proper info about the Sherman, it's been debunked for YEARS now on the sherman being a "death trap". Earlier models such as the M4A1 and M4A2 were prone to ammunition cooking off because wet ammo stowage wasn't applied yet. By the M4A3 variant the sherman had become the best tank of the war as it was capable of completing any situation given at hand The Canadians and British meanwhile acquired the M4A4 also known as the Firefly which albeit was efficient at destroying enemy armor was also a complete mish mash of modifications, a 17pdr cannon is HUGE and barely fitted inside of the turret whilst the radio had to be stuck at the back of the turret. The Americans meanwhile made proper upgrades with the T-23 turret and the 76mm gun barrel which made mincemeat of German armor. Perfected with the notorious M4A3E8 with improved armor, gun, and survivability. It turned the "superior" panzers into burning deathtraps, which they've always been cos Germany never fucking learnt how to make a safe tank. The reason why the Sherman was considered a deathtrap was cos some butthurt tanker made a book about it followed by historians who suck axis cock like no tomorrow. Literally give me one reason why German armor is superior and all I need to say is "Then why did the allies win?"
