It's incredibly silent, actually. The blowers are in the trains themselves - the guideway is basically just a smooth concrete pad. It works surprisingly well! You don't realize a train is passing overhead until you see it visually.

One of the trains travels in a straight line always - the other side-steps the other one via that tunnel, so they can pass one another. They share the guideway for the remainder of the trip, like a funicular/incline railway.
