@sc-tz4yz We know everyone that evening and all are ok to show faces. nowadays when you dine outside in a public place, there would be no guarantee that you will not be in camera. I usually blur other people’s faces just like many other videos, but need to depend on the situation too.

Went to try it and it was tasty and great price. The tamago was custardy well balanced leaving me to want more. I left with a full tummy and will want to eat here again. Thank you for your detail review. 😊

In the US, restaurants like Mott 32 expect 30% tips. For a $500 tap, it'll be $150.

Thanks for this video and it is great that you had a good time there. We tried their lunch a few weeks ago and were quite disappointed that they charged $4 for green tea, which was just very ordinary green tea. This together with tax and service charge added a quite substantial amount to our bill! More importantly, this totally destroyed the whole experience, as a cup of green tea is a courtesy of authentic Japanese restaurant, especially for high end ones. I know a few other high end Japanese restaurants like Yasu also charge customers for green tea, and I have left the same comment in my reviews. Portion for lunch is relatively small and the fishes are rather ordinary. So I disagree that this restaurant offers good value for my money. Personally, with the same amount of money, I prefer to go to the Zen Shanuki next door, which offers very authentic Japanese udon, sushi, sake, dessert....AND green tea, which is FREE!

It is great to let others see your opinion too and not just from mine ☺️ There is a place to have omakase too near Fairview mall called Jumi Gozen Bar, their dinner menu is $88 with similar offerings, not sure about the quality and portion and don’t know if they have tea charges. I might check it out one day to compare. Nowadays even the Michelin two star Madaki Saito is opening up an affordable restaurant line called MSSM, offering $98 omakase experience. For sure they won’t charge any tea fees 😂

Wow! Thank you for your quick reply! Nice to have a KOL who really cares and reads their audience's comment! We tried Jumi Gozen, good service, but sushi was below standard. Fish was not fresh and sushi rice did not hold well. (No charge for tea). From personal experience, I like Zen (Woodbine) and ATO better, overall experience is even better.
