I think Pearl Oakville is the best Pearl. I always enjoy dimsum there when I visit my brother in Oakville. Great service. I remembered Pink Pearl in Bayview village go way back to mid 70's.

The Pearl Group celebrated its 40 year anniversary in 2023, so they were not yet in existence during the 70's. The original Pearl was Pearl Harbourfront and Pearl Bayview Village was opened in 2011.

依間去過，主要做西人生意。 傳統廣東點心就麻麻，尤其是個山竹牛肉。試過叫香煎馬蹄糕，佢加了點桂花，略削。叉燒包都麻麻地。蘿蔔糕都係削。連普洱茶都淡，冇茶味。Scarborough 飲茶好味好多。

我住密市，難得附近有一間高檔中餐廳，哪裏點心尚可，但晚飯人客稀少，質素不穩定，時得時唔得。例如片皮鴨、咕嚕肉，相隔了一段短時間，質素竟然下降了不少😮

呢間點心唔掂，唯一好嘅係坐得舒服。密市飲茶可試Jade Dim Sum, 不過位置唔好，店內擠迫，避免繁忙時段幫襯。

We have been customers at Pearl since their inception and I don't think we've ever ordered off their menu for dinner. If you call them ahead of time and tell them what you'd like to eat, they should be able to accommodate your requests.

@@TorontoHKger In some ways, yes. It's true that they cater to western clentele, and that is reflected in their menu offerings, but a lot of their Chinese clientele are return customers. Normally, we call in to reserve a table and let them know what dishes we'd like to have. Sometimes they offer suggestions on new items they have been working on.

"Dragon Boat Festival" is exclusively and specially for QU YUAN (339 BC -- 278 BC), the great Chinese poet and aristocrat in the State of Chu. AND THE RICE DUMPLING WAS CREATED AND USED TO PROTECT HIM UNDER WATER. Do check for more details and truth yourself.

My experienced was totally differrent, 芋角 was at least 3 days old, re-baked (or air fried), all other dumplings were from cheap frozen food suppliers.The waiters & maitre D's uniform were wrinkled & unfitted. I'll never return, my true experience.
