That’s because this is not a film, it’s a mouauvie: you cast names and faces, not actors. It’s about turning over money and making a profit, and famous singers come with a built-in audience. Of course it’s a shame, because you could make proper films and let them find their audience, it would work - but this is easier.

I love Dua. Her music isn’t my genre or close to what I like to listen to, but she’s so real and so nice. A great human being for her fans to look up to. Work ethic, humble, and accessible. Other current pop stars should take notice. Also, Cavill is a true gentleman and since like Lipa, puts so much into his craft, even when I’m not a fan of the content I can respect the work. Really enjoyed this interview.
