Lost in all the spectacle and megastardom is how solid is her band and how the core of that band is the same as seven years ago when she played in a tent at the Bonnaroo festival where I first made note of her. There appears to be no backing vocal track aside from her backup singers. And at the same time she is doing a lot of dance moves. She is quite clearly extremely fit. I prefer her in a small setting as in her brilliant Tiny Desk concert, but she is loved by the masses now, selling out these huge venues.
