I’m very impressed that you have great and tremendous capacity to learn minute-details of a whole system. I can clearly see how your comfort and understanding levels have greatly increased over time for these motorcoaches.

that is the best explanation of the vanner i have ever seen..i learned a lot..i have one question if i may ..if you were to hook up a 24 volt battery charger/maintainer to those battries where would you attach the negative and positive clips..thanx in advance..again most awsome..from nova scotia canada..

MCI coaches have a 24V post in the rear hatch by the engine. This will most likely be a threaded stud and nut and will have a thick cable going to the main cable that supplies power to the starter. For the negative (ground) you can clamp it anywhere to the chassis. Another option would be to place the negative (black) clamp on the first battery and the positive (red) to the positive post of the second battery.

Hi Daniel, I appreciate your videos. very well made! I have the vanner 100. I replaced all the batteries. I let the coach sit for about 1 week, and the bus did not want to start. I jump-started and started right up. Drove the coach. Both battery warning lights on dash were blinking but eventually went away. Parked and tried to start it after 3 hours, and the same thing wouldn't start. Jump started and turned on immediately. But I have to be jump starting all the time! Also, the vanner led light does not stay on after I turn the power off. Any ideas? I can send you a video of the process if you are still doing this. I know you posted this video several years ago.

The green light on the equalizer when you move main switch to on position remaining glowing or should it turn off after a few seconds.

Did you ever get your answer? According to his videos, the vanner light is supposed to be on all the time, even during the main shut-off. My problem is that the light is not staying on after the coach shuts down.
