EcoFlow has been fantastic thus far. For the price point, it’s one of the best on the market. Not sure why people still go with Jackery or Goal zero…no app access, no fast charger, and low output.

@@hunter_pauleyI ordered the delta 2 with extra battery and 400w solar panel. I have an Iceco VL60 fridge/freezer from what I’ve seen it should run indefinitely with enough daily sun.

@@DAMotorsports you will have zero issue at all and will be able recharge it fully with ease in full sun. Icceo sent me one of their JP Pro 50 so I will be dropping a video on that soon.

Just ordered a Dakota Lithium Dual Use 135ah battery. Safe for under hood, built in heating for cold weather and can charge off stock alternator. Planning to run this battery and keep an EcoFlow as well for 12v blanket and random device charging. Fridge and Diesel heater will run off main Dakota battery. Keep a NoCo jump pack and another backup one in truck all the time. Looked at dual setup, but not really needed. Diesel Heater and ARB Elements fridge won’t kill main batt. Also, ARB and Garmin Power Switch both have low voltage cut out, let’s see how that works with Lithium voltage drop.

@@hunter_pauley ​​⁠I don’t have a Tacoma, but my truck uses a Group 24 battery so this will drop right in. Quick google search looks like Tacoma uses 24 as well.

@@hunter_pauley Also, some more info is my Titan XD charges at 14.4-14.5v which seems perfect for this battery. Got it installed just now and it sits perfectly into Group 24 bottom clamp hold down. Not as wide as stock battery so have tons of extra room on each side of Dakota batt.

thanks! Great info and details. I have almost the exact same setup with a 2017 tacoma - same AGM batter and redarc system from Off Grid Engineering. I also have a lifepo4 battery in the back as well as a bluetti powerstation. I'm 100% with you in that I wold not go for a dual battery next time and just go with a power station. But I would also add a 2nd standalone battery - lifepo4 - so that I can run higher amp DC loads since most stations don't offer more than 30 amps from DC and most only offer 10 amps. In my currentl setup up I switch from the AGM, Lifepo4 battery and powerstation with a bluesea distriution panel and circuit breakers. way overly complicated but I'd hate to try and strip out the agm set up. I almost went that direction when I did the Odyssey set up as well. The price steered me away but in the end....I spent more anyways lol. Lipo4 is def the way to go. I believe (after looking online) the Ecoflow has a "car power output" of 10amps or 126w max. I know with my old Massimo battery, the DC port would trip with my diesel heater that would draw close to 8-9 amps on start up. I have heard the same thing happening with some Jackery units as well. In a perfect world, I would love to add a 100ah lithium in that secondary battery spot....but until you can do that in an engine bay...it's just the ole AGM staying there. I have a hilux And im building a similar setup like yours, So im planning to have 2x 200W solar panels total 400w And 2x 1000Wh power stations On 1 station i can run my refrigerator few led strips and also can charge couple of devices And on other station im gonna run portable 72watt A/C. Which can last for 14 hours if compressor is running continuously, and thats what all i want a refrigerator a small AC and few leds strips and couple of phones, and by morning 200w panel can charge 1000wh station within 5 to 6 hours depends on weather and my country is hot we get clouds rarely

@@hunter_pauley in Pakistan we have both hilux and tacoma Thing is hilux are cheaper they are locally assembled and tacos have to be imported from Japan, Even though i like Tacoma more they look more masculine but hilux is affordable and parts are easily avaliable everywhere while taco parts are only avaliable at dealerships
