Man, thanks so much for this kind review, Eric! 🙌 happy to help with anyone’s questions they may have! One thing I thought I’d share is that PD made their anchor link cord from a specialized thermal plastic cord, those anchor links can handle up to 200lbs each!

How do you keep from cameras from slapping together when you bend forward? I feel that could a potential problem with all dual straps.

I see a lot of photographers use some sort of harness. Would you recommend it for wedding videography as well? I'd love to have the option of 2 different cameras/lenses at all times. I guess my only big worry is the time it'll take to get the screw mount out and get my camera onto another rig like a gimbal or tripod.

You could make that work with a peak design arca plate or another plate that will allow you to attach the PD anchors. I have arca clamps on all my tripods, monopods, and gimbals and can change quickly between everything

You can totally use it this way! that would be really similar to the setup I was using for shooting the doc. I would recommend slinging cameras that do have IBIS though, a huge rig wouldn't sit well with this harness, but a small camera with a shotgun mic (R5/R6) would be great! You can always put the anchors on the camera strap loops on the side of the camera and stick a plate on the bottom of the camera in your quarter twenty mount. Hope that helps!

Buy the PGYTECH Snap Lock system. You can keep a Peak Design Anchor on it at all times, but then quickly snap the camera onto your gimbal.
