A video short of the dual exhaust sounds and performance of a 1949 Chevy 3100 with a 1954 235 engine bored 0.060" over and equipped with a 264 3/4 race cam, dual Fenton intake with dual Carter Weber 32/32 progressive 2bbl carbs, dual Fenton cast iron headers and dual Dynomax turbo mufflers.

The exhaust sounds great!! You're a brave man driving a 73 year old truck 80 down the highway, LOL. I've never taken my '60 over 65. But I usually just cruise at 55. But then again, my 235 is completely stock, LOL

Brave, crazy, a couple turns shy of tight, yeah they all fit, LOL. The ole Chevy don't like getting above 3200 PRM and it lets me know every time I venture past that proverbial line in the sand so it's a very rare occurrence. Thanks for stopping by ICR&F.

Sounds good Dave.. the only thing missing is your song at the beginning of all your videos.. You'll have to mount that device on your dash that reads your speed.. not sure if that was your cell phone or something else.. Not sure what gearing you have but my old 235 6cyl in my 57 Chevy would do over a hundred.. it was just a single carb... Dave take care my friend and God Bless...

Hey Gary. You must mean the GPS speedo I put in the GMC. If I run the Chevy back up again I'll be sure to temp mount a cell phone or something to display the speed better. I'm still running the stock 3 speed and 4:11 gears but the engine is still pulling hard to 4k rpm and has some more left in it. The speedo makes so much racket above 3500 rpm that I avoid spinning it that fast. Course I'm curious what the top speed is so i may disconnect it and use the cell app to track speed one day. Hey MR DAVE I got my dad's old 50 3100 It has a 235 but can't tell the year. The #s behind the distributor are # F0223 A can you help THANKS ahead of time cause I think there's not much you don't know when it comes to an old Chevy THANKS MITCH
