He did, and it’s in the manual that way also.. different but okay, soon it is going to be grease locked anyways.

So no drip tray on the indirect side? Drippings/oil just fall off to the heat deflector? And or falls to the bottom of the grill?

Nope no drip tray on the left. Drippings should burn off just like in your standard gas / charcoal grill. Been using mine for a few months and haven’t had much of an issue

The hot side really burns off most of everything. Not like the smoker side where I put my ribs and butts and brisket!!! Recteq is the best 😎
