*LEIA-ME (READ.ME)* ---- { *USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE* } ---- Vou tentar ser rápida na explicação, então vamos a explicação na qual foi deletado os 2 videos comparativos que havia feito há 3 dias atrás envolvendo Fatal Fury 1 do Arcade vs SNES, pois ao analisar aqui os arquivos RAW, notei e constatei que havia um erro na hora da captura, onde foi utilizado 30 fps ao invés dos 60 fps convencionais presentes em 95 % dos meus videos, e essa captura inferior a 30 fps da versão Arcade acabou por dar uma ligeira vantagem em desempenho na versão SNES que estava capturada em 60 fps, por isso, achei melhor deletar os videos e refazer o comparativo, pois prezo pela qualidade e precisão, porém, ao invés de utilizar novamente a versão Arcade, acabei por utilizar o Neo Geo CD para capturar o Fatal Fury 1 e assim ser comparado com a versão do SNES. E quanto ao Arcade vs Snes de Fatal Fury 1, tal comparação deverá reaparecer no futuro, pois estou querendo integrar no novo video todos os comentários das pessoas que postaram nos 2 videos ''deletados'' (na verdade estão como videos privados), pois dessa maneira, nenhum dos comentários será em vão, pois quem comentou em um dos videos deletados, terá seu comentário integrado no próprio video quando eu o refizer, mas saiba que isso não será por agora, deve demorar um pouco, e enquanto isso não acontece, fiquem com a comparação de SNES vs Neo Geo CD do Fatal Fury 1. Apart from the very powerful, but unusual vdp (it could do only a fixed plane and only sprites, everything was made of sprites), It had the same setup, 68K main cpu and z80 cpu for sound, as many of other systems of the time, including the mega drive/genesis and the capcom`s cps1. It's cartridges didn't hold MB (megabytes), they hold Mb (megabits). 1 MegaByte = 8 megabits, roughly. Megabits was the usual measurement for video games because of marketing.

Nope the neo geo is a 16bit machine . It has a the same Motorola cpu as the genesis but with 12 megahertz’s and z80 processor . The gpu is way more powerful and it has a pallete of 65,000 colors and can display 4096 colors .

Difference in arcade power, and cost of soundchip. Realize the Neo Geo was arcade hardware that was more powerful, and more expensive to produce, so it better be quite strong in what it can do.

SF2 pretty much set the standard for all fighting games back then! If the controls were PERFECT and the game was more playable (all characters selectable in the VS mode), I really wouldn't have gave a SHIT about the piss-poor sound quality. With just a few more extra megs, they prolly could've done WONDERS with this port. My guess is that they had WANTED to make the controls much better, but lack of megs and the SNES's obvious hardware limitations just didn't allow that to happen? I mean, at least the graphics looked pretty decent and was close enough for most poor kids not to notice any difference!

The colors on the SNES version are pretty accurate; everything looks rich and nicely saturated... The redrawn sprites look a bit smaller due to the differences in resolution, but they are otherwise pretty faithfully close to the arcade originals. ALOT of the background details and animations are missing, however tho... Smaller cart size and lack of RAM are the most likely culprits here!

Música de Raiden/Big Bear é animal desde o 1. Principalmente a versão cd. Nas sequencias ficou bem parecida, com algumas modificações apenas. Idem para do Geese, umas das que considero como uma das melhores de todos jogos da SNK. Detalhe que a música do Geese foi inspirada um pouco na do poderoso chefão, segundo curiosidade que já li. Achei muito interessante.

That Samurai Shodown was done the way it was to keep a lot of aspects from the arcade version, like all the characters, a lot of background detail, the one event where Amakusa appeared to the player in flame form, and to keep all endings fully intact. People don't realize that despite having bigger sprites, the Genesis version had to have an absolute boatload of things removed from it (no special Amakusa flame form intro, endings all cut in half, no Earthquake, tons of detail in the backgrounds lost, winning poses removed, other animations also axed). It was a sacrifice, that if you ask me, was not worth it. They should've gone with smaller sprites there as well, so more stuff could've been implemented.

Snes got a pretty decent conversion. I believe that this early Neo Geo games were more primitive in graphics and controls so was possible to make good versions for Snes and Genesis. I was wondering here how a version of Kof94 would look on Snes.

I would put my money on the Genesis cuz the 2x faster CPU could've allowed for smoother/faster gameplay... Include all 26 of the original KOF'94 characters on it and allow for 'free select' of ANY character you want to be on your team (like in the later KOF installments). All that would prolly a 64 meg cart; and that's gonna be pretty EXPENSIVE. I bet the game would cost at least $100 or more!

Neo Geo has better graphics and more animations. I would buy the Neo Geo AES if money was no object and complete all the games - better yet buy the original Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet (doesn't have to be the 4 cartridge one) and complete all the games buy an AES to MVS adapter so that all the games have boxart on them- maybe upgrade the CRT of the cabinet to 4:3 OLED (not a fan of scanlines) if that exists.

En la versión de SNES la jugabilidad es mejor que en el arcade. Ya que en este, hacer los movimientos especiales requeria de un timing demasiado exigente. Sólo por esto, para mi ya es mejor que el propio arcade. Además perdió la posibilidad de desplazarse al fondo, que es lo que menos me ha gustado siempre de la saga Fatal Fury. Los bonus son sustituidos por otros mucho más divertidos, y para colmo, en el modo vs el segundo jugador puede seleccionar a todos los personajes del juego. Por todo ello, este port me parece mucho más interesante que el arcade. Con el de Neo Geo CD no sé, porque nunca lo probé.

Comparing a small cart size on a less powerful machine versus a CD system capable of holding large amounts of data on the CD's, surely not a fair comparison. While it's nice seeing them run side by side, anyone saying such and such wins in this case, is extremely foolish. While I appreciate the comparisons, the comments section on these videos are pretty much always cringe worthy, it's likely people are caught up on which version is better on their favorite system, but don't look and enjoy what one could do that the other couldn't, and fully understand what one could do, the other likely could not due to hardware differences, and differences in prices and power of the hardware (in this case, cart vs CD). Nope, it always dissolves into a "insert favorite console here" wins (it's like that in EVERY video this person puts out). No one looks at both as works of art at all, and guaranteed some of the people were not even alive at the time these games came out. It's like no one appreciates the games at all, they just like to troll instead. Now the one thing I did find weird about the CD version, SNK made no arranged soundtrack for this game until Fatal Fury Battle Archives Volume 1 on the PS2.

I'm in my forties now, and was definitely ALIVE to be around when these games came out way back in the early 1990's... Those of us who were still kids in my generation, just tried to enjoy the SNES for what it WAS and whatever games that were available on it back then. We never had any serious complaints whatsoever. Most of us were (and still are) too poor to afford a Neo Geo, and didn't wanna put up with the long load times of the NGCD either; so we mostly just played it at the arcades to get the most enjoyment out of these games!

I Think this looks amazing for a SNES conversion. I don't know if the Game play is bad though. But looks wise it's even closer than Street Fighter 2.

This was ported on SNES just to make money on mainstream consumers stupidity ,awful gameplay good enough for 3yo baby's that still believe to this day that Snes is better than anything

I played si much snes games back in the 90’s but can’t stand them anymore besides a few very good games like Actraiser 2 and the Donkey Kong country games…maybe also contra III Castlevania and super gouls’n ghosts…I am just fed up with it’s limited animations capacity and compressed sounds…

The snes port was amazing for a 16 bit system..but obviously arcade is perfect hence the saying arcade perfect
