Size of Atom is very minute. So orbit of electron should also be very tiny. In that case how the waves can be accommodated in that orbit ? It looks doubtful. has anybody seen these wave movements of electrons ?

If the de broglie wavelength for matter waves is so small,they must be highly energetic waves.But we don't observe so. Why is this ?
@MominParveez
@MominParveez 9 жыл бұрын
E inversely propotional to lambda is only applicable for electro magnetic waves. hope that answers the ques brother. actually i have some confusion when sir writes 2 pi r =n lambda ,...here n is no of wave but in bohrs postulate mvr=nh/2pi ..n is orbit no (i,e principal quantum no)...
@TheKashif7896
@TheKashif7896 9 жыл бұрын
Thanks you So you are saying they are non energetic waves.?
@MominParveez
@MominParveez 9 жыл бұрын
probabily.. i am just following what sir taught.. i dunno if there is some exception or else thing... sir told planks theory is only valid for EMW.. i commented the same..

But delta e=h/mv ( where v is the velocity of the object,not speaking about electromagnetic waves. There is mass and there is velocity,so there must be some energy,and if there is some it should be inversely proportional to wavelength
@MominParveez
@MominParveez 9 жыл бұрын
thats the confusion for any object wave length=h/mv not E...energy inversely propotional to wave length by the planks equation E=hc/lmbda and is only valid for EMW. so its true that every particle with certain mass and velocity posess some wave length and for objects like car etc wave length is very very less ...but u cant compare this wave length with the relation E=hc/lambda i know ur confusion its like as energy is hc/lmbda and lmbda is ver very less so enery must be greater and must be harmful... but as i am saying energy inversely propotional to wave length is no valid for paricles or objects is only applicable for EMW hope u got me

if wavelength is so small in car and bullet so frequency is inversely proportional to wavelength and energy is directly proportional to frequency.There should be a maximum energy it should harm us it doesn't so the theory is wrong hence proved by JAYA KRISHNA
