When I heard the pop during the Allen key extraction from The squril cage my heart started racing because I thought you might've stripped out the key!

I did this exact same thing. I didn't know it was called a squirrel cage. I called em hamster wheels. But I actually just winged it. To remove the two clamps I used my vise grips and a flat head. But I found your video helpful because I was skeptical about if I'd have to back and fix a mistake

Do the motors Blow from the outside edges? I'm wondering since I have no ducting and just a vent there maybe I can block part of it minus the edges so it makes less noise😢

Looks like during reassembly you got the squirrel cages turned around backwards. Hard to see but it looks like the scoops are facing away from the direction of the discharge. Motor spin and scoops should be going in the direction of the discharge.

Im usually pretty careful when putting back these dual blower wheels back on, I haven't got a call back on this yet and its been a few weeks. But hey, I do screw up now and then.

As someone in the service industry I know mistakes are inevitable and call backs suck. Just try to watch out for a fellow tech. I just noticed at 3:13 mark the blades are facing towards you and at the 10:20 mark the blades are facing away. An it looks like the housing is in the same orientation in both shots.
