How are you preventing damage to the shore power cabling from overheating on the reel due to induction? Also, how are you limiting the overall combined load drawn from the supplied circuit?

Induction? On the cord real... How can it have induction? The cord is only powered when plugged in. If it's plugged in it's pulled out. Even if it's not pulled out all the way are u not familiar with hanging cord reals? I have several in my shop and they don't overheat from induction. The transfer switch only allows power from gen or cord. Both cannot be energized at the same time. Overload would be controlled by the supply. If it's plugged into an outlet as a supply that source will have protection. If it's running from gen the gen has a breaker. I'm not sure what three other accounts u logged into to give yourself 3 thumbs up but I don't know who would agree with it.

@@electromechanicalstuff2602 Oh no no no no, you are assuming the operator is pulling whole reel out and laying it out. Assumption is the mother of all F-Ups.

@@bentheguru4986 not sure u know this but there are extension cords on reals in hundreds of millions of garages around the world hanging from the ceiling or work bench. They almost never get "fully" unraveled when used.... No epidemic of overheating extension cords .... Weird

Over heating from Induction... On a cord real. I better go check the 2 I have in my garage right now.... Who knew, been installed for a decade and it can spontaneously erupt at any moment

Not water proof in any way. Genny is tiny inverter style which are evil with many loads. Oh, Neutrik's powerCON are not to be disconnected under load despite your claim.
