I clicked onto this out of curiosity from an offhand comment into another video about dual loading. While watching, I reached over to practice this with my own shotgun. I'll need to practice a lot more. Then I watched you quad load and went "oh fuck that, I can't even do two quickly" :D

Very good instructional video, from personal experience quad loading is much harder than dual loading. At least to me, I have tiny hands!

Drives me nuts that in Australia repeating shotguns are restricted to 5 round tubes! Makes it impossible to dual or quad load a full tube during a stage.

I can't do this with my Benelli M4. The second round always gets caught up and I have tried a million times a million different ways and it just won't work. Am I doing something wrong or is it something with the M4?

I'm looking to get a 2+1 S2 sgn to start practical shooting. Is it pretty standard for many models to be able to accept an extended mag and make them a S1 firearms (as a variation), or their numbers fairly small and you have to end up buying a designated S1 model?

Nick Bea no. The integral tube on a S2 gun is restricted with a crimp, so it needs to be derestricted or replaced before the extension will add capacity. As a rule of thumb, if you don’t have a licence, join a club, use the club gun and apply for your FAC. if you have a S2 (or at least an SGC) then by all means use it but it’s a hassle/expense to convert (although I’ve done it twice!)

You will need to have the internal tube replaced or modified to unrestricted, for most guns it's fairly quick and check to do. Stoeger M3000, Benelli M2 or Beretta 1301 can be quickly unrestricted by a gun smith.

@@EnglishShooting Ta Callum. I applied for an FAC + SGC back in Feb after getting full club membership. That's now on hold 😥. All I can do now is plan what I splash the cash on and a practical orientated SGN with the capability to be legally modified into a sec1 firearm was on that wishlist. Given the price of the Stoeger then having a 2+1 and 9+1 could be on the cards. How much is the conversion job BTW?

I'd disagree, the barrel clamps offer protection but the tubes are solid. 100's have been made for 3 Gun and IPSC shooting and there's not been one returned.

@@EnglishShooting i agree that the tubes are quite solid, but the main problem could be at the place of the thread if the tube hits the obstacle. i believe so and i do use barrel clamps to prevent any problems during the gun drills.

How do you remove the shells without racking the bolt?? Also, do you have any contacts for a gunsmith in NY that’s familiar with opening up the loading port? I’m having trouble finding one

In mine, you can remove the shells by pulling back in the forearm, allowing the shell to fall into the port, then flipping the shotgun over to let the shell fall out (but you wanna catch it). Then you do that over and over until it's empty without actually ever racking a shell
