Here is my version of an easy to make DIY Pliers Rack, a nice project for tool box organisation.

Consider buying me a coffee if this video helped:
www.buymeacoff...
It would really help me out if you could like the video (if you do), share the video (if you think someone would find it useful), and consider subscribing if you enjoyed it.
After looking for some time for a product that would fit my tool chest that was either available in the UK or suitable for what I wanted I decided I'd have to make my own (North Americans i'm very envious of the availability of tool box organisation bits and bobs you have over there!).
I think this DIY Pliers Rack came out just brilliant, I do like some good tool box organization. I bought a black vegetable rack to make mine, when choosing something you might use for your rack think about the gap between the wire for the pliers to fit!
Let me know what you think in the comments, would you have done anything different?

That is a brilliant solution. I'm not sure I have a drawer deep enough for it unfortunately. Need a bigger box. Have to add that I'm surprised you haven't been burned at the stake for heresy, using imperial units on that side of the pond.

@@MrPoopnoddy sadly yes. But if you asked me to walk a mile with a gun to my head and if I was off by 20% or more then you'd pull the trigger. I'd be dead for sure. I don't know how far a mile is, or a yard. I only know a foot is 300mm because it's on tape measures that I use at work. Side note. Language is full of leftovers from a past time. I may well say "need to spend a penny" when I need a wee. But I wouldn't literally be spending a penny at the local convenience. When I need to get to work. I need to crack on. But I don't use a whip to make my horse hurry up. I dare say we'll eventually join the civilised world and get Km on our road signs. But I bet things will still be a mile away. Just from a language point of view. And yes. A police officer is a copper and yet none I know have a shiny copper helmet :p

I made mine out of a dish drainer, from the dollar store. 7 bucks. Plastic coated wire. I really like how you can lift them out as a whole. I work in a food plant & wash & clean tools all day long. This will double as a drying rack as well. Great idea you have there!

Hi and thanks for the feedback. The cab and top box is supple in the UK by a company called machine mart. I thought myself they look a very similar design to the husky boxes....it wouldn't surprise me if they are made by the same people. I do wish though that the UK suppliers would get on board with a deeper top box hutch design...they are too shallow over here unless you buy snap on and I can't afford to sell a kidney for one of those lol.
