I like that this is the only ps5 pro controller with trigger stops and adaptive triggers at the same time. All of the custom controllers with trigger stops break that functionality and third party pro controllers never had it.

I had mine for 3 mos, and abso fucking lutely loving everytime im using it.. I dont care for battery life or how much it cost, for as long as I am enjoying it.❤❤ Dual sense edge rocks..💪💪💪

It works in Steam but what about other launchers? Such as Battlenet and Epic launcher.

For the pc, can you remap the touchpad to work as the mouse/tab and map the back paddles as keys from the keyboard?

Can you asign 2 buttons to the paddle. For example. Left stick forward and square button for simultaneous function. As used for kick and shove in the Souls series.

I have both a PS5 & Gaming PC, and I am looking at getting this controller mainly for the PC. I was so happy to hear that the profiles work on the PC. although like you I wish you could program the controller on the PC as well. it's good enough for me. as for your 2 main concerns with the controller. I'm not concerned with the outer plastic shell IF Sony is using higher quality internal components. and as far as the snap in analog sticks go. Xbox may magnets for their elite controller, but it doesn't help reduce stick drift. in fact I hear it's a magor issue for the Xbox elite controller. at least Sony gives you a way to fix it without needing a whole new controller.

Can you use the Controller on PC wirelessly with Bluetooth and still have the profiles and back paddles functionality? Or does it only works while wired

The Xbox Elite V2 is a plastic shell; as is the V1; as are all official Xbox controllers; as are all of Sony’s DS line; as are Nintendo’s… Want a metal one? How heavy do you like your controllers??? Carbon fiber? How expensive do you want it???

So you have to use a ps5 to set it up? I still cant figure out how to even use it on my pc in general, let alone use my own paddle setup.

Yes it does require a ps5 to set up profiles and button assignments. As for using it on pc just connect it to the pc via usb. All rifles are saved to controller and you can switch profiles using the function buttons on the controller

Yes! Set the prestes up on ps5, use them on pc

@@FakiShots yup. Tested it myself. I made three presets and using the function button while on pc I was able to switch between presets and it worked (in steam)

I disagree on some parts. If it’s worth $200 It needs to look and feel like $200. Not be just another piece of plastic. Like you mentioned with the Xbox controller that thing is metal right? So for $200 we should be getting metal for that controller too

I do agree to an extent. I would’ve preferred a metal body. However even though it’s still plastic it does feel quite durable and not cheap. All factors taken into consideration I think the price isn’t too unreasonable. But honestly I also think Sony charged $200 cause they know people like will pay it.

It is not metal. It’s plastic but with a kind of rubber all around. What I love on the elite is the battery life which is almost 10x this. And I love the metal thumbtacks which makes rotation much smoother.

Xbox controller isn’t metal and it’s absolute garbage just like all the Xbox one controllers have been trash after the Xbox 360 controllers which was built like tanks and never had stick drift problems
