Hi, is it possible to program a button on the streamdeck+ to change audio output (for example if you switch from headphones to speakers)? With my wave xlr currently, I can do it via elgato wavelink but I have to open the software and make the change with my mouse

Hey! So I got the elgato USB hub for my Streamdeck plus and decided to switch back to the podmic via usb. I love it. Mostly because I don't through the USB hub along with other USB devices. It's a leek mic, gives me solid sound, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like a XLR setup.

@@StreamGearTalksame person here you replied to but on my other account (the other one is my browsing, this is my actual channel account). I’ve been on a similiar journey to you I feel. Started with the ride VMNTG (still my back up mic connected straight to camera). Then got a Shure mv7 which I returned. Then I picked up an Elgato wave neo which I quite like. A great deal on eBay came up for an Elgato wave xlr and a DX so curiosity got the better of me so I picked that up thinking the wave xlr might be handy one day as an interface. Got a bit fed up with the mic so close to my face all the time (I’m a therapist and people kept saying it annoyed them). Then picked up an se7 SDC which i love but is so prone to plosives especially as I move my head a lot. Went to an ATR875 which sounds a bit thin and due to clinic room being very reverberant I get a bit of comb filtering I think. Now I use the VMNTG again but my work laptop can’t install the rode software and the VMNTG doesn’t save settings onboard the mic. Now I’m back looking at NT-USB mini, NT plus! Podmic usb as they all store settings on board, and again looking at the MV7+ because the noise suppression (instead of a gate on the rode mics) looks great. I’m not even really into mics and streaming etc, I just somehow accidentally built a KZbin channel that people seem to like and now have turned into a bit of tech geek but it’s surprising,y stressful trying to find the right stuff!

It shouldn’t matter but what folder did you save them to? Or better, did you install the plugins to the same drive and folder as wavelink? I had this issue once and solved it by doing this

Just bought a pair for $110 "open box" on ebay. I'm not planning on buying an amp though and I bought the 80ohm model, incase my motherboard sound card struggles to run them, would something like a soundblaster play 3 be good? I have a pretty tight budget rn as I literally just broke my pair of headphones..

I have RX Elements 11, and when I used De-noise in Wavelink it was all fine, but when I added any other plugin, like De-clip, the audio would lag horribly, like almost 1 second latency. I tried with all other rx plugins, and only if I leave "De-noise" it is ok. I ruined a live stream because of this - because I had added De-clip and De-ess before streaming not thinking they would do anything.

Sorry but elgato is not better here even if the video it looke like a sponsored ad . __-Rode streamer x(not needed to use there software) + elgato deck mini + xm8500 + xlr ugreen 3 meter cable is same money and u get for free a 4k capture card and sound pad and u can use steeseries GG software . better money use. and you can use with console. linux, mac and win 11

I got the 250 Ohm version and they are fantastic for listening to music, gaming, and doing professional audio work which I do on the side. The price for these is a literal steal, especially if you can find them on sale.

For some reason I dont get the option for editing the settings on the noise removal.. I don't eve see the icon. I've updated it and everything, still nothing. Is it because I am using the WaveLink 3?

Na that shouldn't cause that. I'm using the wave 3 now and I have the ability to change those settings in noise removal. Maybe try uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it?

Absolutely! The Streamdeck Plus and all related software can be as intricate or as simple to use as you want it to be. The best thing here, and why I recommend for all even beginners, is that this is a piece of gear that you'll use from day 1 to the day you stop creating. It has a place on any and every creator's set up.

They're both good for different use cases. For streaming the Mk2 more than gets the job done. However for either one, I recommend making sure you e got sufficient lighting. Bad lighting cna make even the most expensive cameras look bad.
