I've had a Wolverine TE for the past couple of years and I've really grown accustomed to the tactile buttons. It's also the best controller I've had yet in terms of stick drift. That being said, I'm going with the DS Edge. Swappable modules wins it for me.

I've been using razer controllers for the past 5 years and I've loved every single one. I've also used a wide variety of other controllers. The tactile buttons feel amazing and the new v2's are the most comfortable controllers I've ever used. The top buttons are also very nice and don't require any learning to feel comfortable. Everyone keeps saying the swappable thumstick modules are the easy winner, but I've also used the astro contoller with the same "benefit". The concept is great if the modules are good. However I have a feeling they'll have the same issues that the astro contoller had. Massive stick drift, and component failure from dust, sweat, etc. I may try the ps edge to see if the modules are well designed, but I'm definitely leaning towards the wolverine v2 pro as I know it's reliable.

Just checked the Aussie prices... DualSense Edge = $339.99. Razer Wolverine V2 Pro = $475.95. Considering the Retail price of a "standard" DealSense Controller is $119.00, both are really pricey. Plus, the XBOX Elite 2 is $249 down here. That is a lot of money for those extra features. It is more than safe to assume that the dualsense edge wins here. Not only does it have swappable stick modules, it also looks a whole more comfortable than the wolverine v2. this is likely not the case. i have the wolverine v2 chroma for xbox and pc and it's really comfortable, and works well with my big hand. my dualsense controller isn't as comfortable as the razer controller, and doesn't work as well with my bigger hands. the grips feel fantastic and it definitely beats out the standard xbox controller in terms of comfort, and of course, the dualsense, which isn't as comfortable to me. this could definitely vary by person, and it might be that the razer is more comfortable because of my big hands, but is too chunky for smaller hands.

After feeling the new haptics Sony put in the ps5 controller few days ago for the first time, I went with the edge controller. I asked the game store employee today if the razer had the same exact haptic feedback the DS gives, and he "thinks it did". Reply wasn't good enough to consider getting razer. Plus my experience with the razer products have been 70% good 30% malfunctioned. The worst being a first gen $100 Naga mouse laser dying first 5 months. I still use a ps4 ds4 controller from 2014, with kontrol freak on the worn off sticks and battery life is down to about 2.5 hours. Not bad for almost 10 years use. I really like how the razer has an app though. Plus having the 8 way dpad is a nice feature since Mortal Kombat 11 I couldn't get a trophy do to the awkward move control. I'll probably get that controller also eventually, but at $250 it'll have to be a sale price or bit of a wait

Razer is the better controller because they will never have stick drift unlike the dual sense. And also the Razer has mechanical mecha buttons more features and is the faster controller especially with its app that can allow you remap the buttons and colors. The infernal specs go to razer to be honest. The dual sense only has an edge over quick swapping out the entire analog modules which you shouldn't even think about swapping out lol. Razer won't have faulty analogs but the dual sense can (hence the swappable modules) and you can get stick drift. Trust me I'm coming from a razer raiju ultimate edition and I'm still using it up to this day for tournaments. So just get the dual sense for comfort and the razer for gaming performance

Because they take profit for the gamepad, and they sell console at loss. When your PS5 costs $599, it doesn't mean that its production cost is below that. Don't understand how the Xbox controller layout can be praised as superior when you can't clawgrip the Dpad on this layout (only the right side face buttons...) For pure tryhards and optimization maniacs, the PS layout got the edge by far just because of it; what advantage can a Xb layout bring since noone is gonna claw the joystick as opposed to the huge advantage of clawing Dpad here and there when needed? Regarding the shape it boils down to subjective preferences. (I consider the XB controller too bulky personally, then the DS4 was way too tiny, the ds5 middle ground is just ideal to *my* convenience)
