Dualtron Thunder KickStand Upgrade Part 2

where did you find that "spring bracket" i think you called it.. The part that attaches to the scooter with the 2 screws. 2:22 . I have been looking for literally a week in every online store, searching under every search option i can think of.. i can not find it. I have the same exact kickstand but it didnt come with a way to actually mount the effing thing.. All i need is a piece of metal like you have. youd think it would be easy to find.

The spring actually came with the kickstand. i purchased from Aliexpress...hopefully that helps

@@frankpinc3706 no not the spring, the metal base part. The mount you bolt the kickstand to.. The angled piece of metal with two bolt holes that attaches to the scooter on one end of it and attaches the kickstand on the other side..

They sold me the kickstand without that piec.. you CANT mount it without it!! what the hell! You got a link for the specific one you bought? I'm gonna have to return mine and rebuy it with all the pieces.

There are actually seven screws that need to be taken out. Not three as indicated in this video.

Kick stand looks awesome, but did you really have to take the scoot apart just to put a kick stand on ? I have came off my Thunder and have bad muscle damage to my right shoulder and arm, my left arm is just badly bruised so I cant pick my scoot up or over to see underneath, hence my question, want the kick stand but tell you never got it from Carbonrevo because they are not shipping for months with the covid 19 situ. THE THReads in the scooter are shit, i cant even screw the screws in anymore, i need a solution for this . the threads in the scooter are filed down now , what kind of LOCK TIGHT ? or tape can i use so the screw threads in ? im on a victor,

I think there is something wrong with the mounting bracket.

You put on the spring while it is in the close/up position-hook it and your done.

Not sure if it will work on a Dualtron Ultra but at Aliexpress you can input the type of scooter.

I did mine and it wasn’t nearly as easy for me. I had two nuts behind the screws to remove the original stand. My only dislike I wish I could shorten the new stand to get a better lean on my scooter.

The height is also a factor , if the scooter is low to the floor, then it might be to long.
