Love the Minimotors scooters. I have bought 4 of them over the years. I was interested in buying a new one, but geez, the product lineup is a hot mess. Way too many models to choose from.

You said 40 amp controllers then you said 45 amp so what is it ?

Its dual 40 amp, until you double tap then it overboost to 6oamps for a short period of time

I can see a problem already. The rear fender is to short. If your on any kind of moisture your back side gets a rooster tail blast. Same problem with the X and X2.

I had an X for 2 years never once had anything come up and hit me.

@@voxtek I’ve had mine for a few years as well. My back fender is covered in mud from going on trails. My back is covered as well. Once you are standing on the deck the fender no longer covers the fulcrum and if you travel through any kind of moisture you get covered.

@@xyzyyz Idk man, maybe your suspension isnt setup as well as mine was, i never had a problem with it. Cant sit here and say you arent experiencing what you are, i just didnt. However I can say, the fender on the thunder 3 is longer then this one here, so they addressed it already it would seem.

@@voxtek X2 is still overpriced. This new model has a nice dash though. I still love my X2 but it was the exact same price as my Harley and doesn’t seem worth it.

@@xyzyyz Thats why i sold mine and got a Nami Burn E, smaller, more nimbler and faster then my X was. Overall like it much better

The Thunder 3 is not worth upgrading to. It's no Upgrade from Thunder 2.

Thank you for sharing. I just brought my Thunder 2 a few hours ago and the whole time a guy was bragging about how his thunder 3 will be in Saturday. The guy even asked me will I be around Saturday to see it lol

FYI ROADRUNNER SCOOTERS WARRANTU IS GARBAGE. So far mu experince with Roadrunner scooter has left me with major buyer's remorse. Right out of the box the front brakes were weak at best. Now non-existant. The small lock pin no longer works and will not hold stem in place while tightening the main lock screw. They do not accept returns if you put 1 mile on it. So if after this, you still buy one, look it over really good, check everything you can. Test your brakes without riding it. I no loger feel safe riding it and getting no help from Roadrunner. So buyers be warned!!!
