Duane Eddy - "Play Me Like You Play Your Guitar" - Glastonbury Festival, 26th June 2011

Tina Peacock and Louise Thompson, once of Sheffield girl group Supersister, help out Duane Eddy with vocals on his 1975 hit "Play Me Like You Play Your Guitar" on the West Holts Stage at the Glastonbury Festival on the afternoon of 26th June 2011.

Tony Macaulay and I wrote this song originally as San Fernando Line in 1974 but it seemed to need a guitar orientated feel. Enter Duane Eddy when we had changed the whole lyric to PLAY ME LIKE YOU PLAY YOUR GUITAR. The original backing singers were Sue and Sunny, who were the "go to" singers in London at that time and had been on many hits. For a live recording this is very good and Tina and Louise do the vocals justice. Duane of course delivers in fine style. He and I are still in touch with each other and he is still going strong!
