Next time email the hotel with your arrival flight number and someone from the hotel will meet you and bring up through a secret worker only short cut right to the front desk.

Your probably right. We considered doing that. But we were so tired we wanted a sure thing, just to be able to lay down. Otherwise the lounge is my goto rest spot!

No, As far as I'm aware you will need to pay to stay in most if not all hotels in DXB airport.

Definitely get a hotel. Some lounges are limiting time to 3 to 6 hours. It might be more costly but you can sleep more soundly then a lounge without the risk of being woken up and told to leave.

Hi. I belive it was for a full 13 hours. Although I also think you can book for blocks of time for 24 hours. When we stayed there the rates were lower. Now it looks like they went up because travel is coming back. So it might cost you more now unfortunately :(

1-3hrs stay = 135usd 4-6hrs=251usd 7-12hrs =290usd 24hrs=385usd I work as a receptionist in this hotel.
