The best part of this video is the fact that there’s luxury watches actually being worn while doing crazy outdoor activities instead of the usual channels that show a watch, wipe it clean and put it back in a safe place. This is my definition of enjoying your watches. Awesome pick up as well. I’m also eyeballing the Santos to be honest…it’s one of the few Cartier watches I like and its historical importance in the wristwatch industry is making it extra special 👍

This video is epic. I got my santos delivered last week and I agree I previously thought of it as a high end fashion watch but when you see it in person it’s beautiful and has the history behind it. I also enjoyed the trip down memory lane at Atlantis. Had a wonderful break there a couple of years back with my family. The kids loved the waterpark and the food was amazing. Thank you LWC for stirring up those memories. .

personally, I'm of course going to say I prefer the rodium dial with tiffany blue seconds and writing, since I'm an owner of one. The Blue dial is nice, but I feel the red seconds hand is an awkward clash. However, I do agree that skin tone can affect the feel of a watch on the wrist.

That is amazing! My son is 3.5 and I have been looking to get him his first watch. He can tell my Omega and Oris apart. Starting the watch education at a young age lol

I prefer the dark rhodium YM. Love that sunburst dial and the blue lettering. very unique. this watch is a sleeper. it will eventually be very much wanted. It's a more elegant submariner. as for the Cartier...I agree with your comment that Cartier is a jewelry brand more than a watch brand. IMO I like the Chopard alpine eagle with the date complication and blue sunburst dial. I've never seen one in person and think it looks amazing. I really like its uniqueness.

I love these types of videos. It's like I'm on vacation too. Good feeling! Which Rolex Yachtmaster? - Good question. I could see and wear both models, and I liked both models equally. I only chose the blue Yachtmaster because it is suitable for sunny weather with blue skies and blue water.

I am truly amazed you managed to travel to Dubai, I've been having trouble just getting a visa without a 14 day quarantine. I have my watch waiting in Dubai for me, not sure when I'll be able to travel to pick it up.

Congratulations! The Santos really is an awesome watch. My wife just bought me the Santos de Cartier for my upcoming birthday but she won't let me wear it until the day....Grrrrr! I tried on both sizes at the boutique but decided on the medium as the large felt a bit too big on my 18cm wrist.

The Santos has earned its place - various versions look great. PO GMT is a great choice for travel. Using a SuperOcean Abyss on Oceanracer strap with glidelock deployant for leisure travel myself.

Hi, Thanks for taking us with you on your vacation trip to Dubai! If I would have the chance to pick up a Yachtmaster I would choose the rhodium dial. I like the blue dial as well but IMHO the rhodium dial is more versatile. Congrats on your new Santos. It has became a very popular watch during the last two years or so. I hadn’t have the opportunity to try both, the large and midsize, on yet. But I could see me adding the Santos to my collection as well. Best regards, Claus

Hello there LWC-hope ur well? Love the Cartier Santos but I often ask myself, what is up with hard core enthusiasts and Cartier, they make lovely watches and they have uped their game with the movements. I think that Cartier make classics. The Cartier santos in steel looks great with the brown leather band, I do feel that when in full steel, it seems monotonous; I am kind of swinging towards the 2 tone, it may be more versatile for me as it would still look good on bracelet and leather, it cost more money, that's the only pain! Another great video…a nice change too. Personally I think the blue handed rhodium dial Yacht-Master is better and sir I think it suits you very much. Ignore skin tone that watch is beautiful.

I love the Santos, congrats! It’s probably my next watch purchase (in the medium size because large looks weird on my wrist), but I’m still torn if I should go for full steel or steel and gold.

I bought the large one in grey dial as I find the lumed hands and Roman indices interesting. Also I have a few Cartier in white dial already so wanted a different dial. Very nice and versatile watch. Love the bracelet and links quick change system. One of the best out there right now.

I hope you clenched your cheeks on the leap of faith :') I didn't on my first time doing Summit Plummit in Blizzard Beach and it wasn't fun... :| let's just say it was the first and only enema I'll ever get X'D It looks so beautiful over there! Poseidon's Revenge looks so fun! I recently tried out the Tank, Santos Medium and the XL and it's a beautiful watch :) I already have a two tone watch so I preferred the all steel version like you have.

Wear in it good health. I swear that couple of seconds before you revealed thw watch, I had a feeling that it will be Cartier Santos Big, but I thought it would be blue dial with steel indicies or DLC version. Anyway, enjoy it and all the best!

I find the large santos too big on my 7 inch wrist. It makes the watch look very square. Just a square covering the whole of the wrist. The medium is better for me. The design and the bracelet is so iconic, then again as are most Cartier models ie tank, pasha, b bleu. Great brand
