Concorde is surely the most beautiful passenger aircraft of all time? A380 looks kind of generic - nice enough but you'd hardly give it a second glance unless you were an enthusiast. It's a nice plane to fly in (extremely quiet). It's a shame orders dried up and production will be ceased.

Geez, what a huge difference in the contrasting landscapes of both countries, taking off from a dessert and then landing in auckland nz which to me looked very much clean and green, im just saying, both countries are beautiful all the same, cool video....

That was the longest take off ever. However hot desert climates lead to longer take offs. Luckily dubai runway is built for that.

Long takeoff roll, indeed! Using that much runway would put you off the end at Auckland. Right length landing, though-any longer and they would have either had to back the plane up or perform a u-turn to get it off the runway (which I heard they've had to do at least once).

Great video. Interesting route if you flew over Jakarta. Our route was directly south of Perth Australia and across the southern ocean, presumably to catch the tailwinds.

Yes, I think it's an unusual route. A previous flight flew under Australia and only clipped the landmass near Melbourne

I believe it is the emirates longest flight. 18hours something. Don't know if I am right. But Qatar airways boeing 777 holds the world record. From Doha to Auckland I think so. Now Airbus A380 has started its service to Islamabad Pakistan as well. Nice video bro.

Yes, non-stop and that's partly the reason why Emirates introduced the non-stop service to Auckland, to avoid Australian visa issues in the event the transit flight was delayed in Australia.
