Nose picking is when we are at our most honest selves 😄 What i like about your set up (apart from the pseudo-comraderie of "Ooh, I also have the microfreak. And the Crave. And the Circuit. Ooh ooh ooh! AND THE VENOM! I have the Venom! ...ooh the cables. I have, I have cables like that too!: 🤪) is the arrangement of hardware you have. That's what my life looks like in 10 square meters of living space i reside in - everything is basicly on top of everything else at any given time. Your vids are more inspirational than those of Arturia's Astrobrute 96's or UDO SuperHyper Gemini's. (Not that there is anything wrong with the actual instruments from aforementioned brands.) Nose picking all the way, for all of us. 👆 😆

@@mack_soloI feel it's often more fun to watch people actually use the stuff than someone demo the factory presets and beg you to use their affiliate links to buy it 🤷🏻♂️😊 I'm running out of mixer channels as bad as I am running out of desk space, I saw someone using a multilevel keyboard stand and it looked so clean that I kinda want to do the same 😅 Here we call the current aesthetic "creative chaos" and I can stand by that 😁

@@minikuiotoko I use purposely adapted VESA quad monitor desktop stands for my everything, from Volcas, to grooveboxes, to micro keyboards. On my next quadtopus iteration the plan is to fit microkorg/minilogue sized synths too. For now for these i use 2/3 tier laptop/DJ stands. The advantage of monitor arms is that I can control horizontal AND vertical position in relation to the surrounding mess, and can kinda push the stuff away when not in use. Whereas the laptop stand is just a fixed elevation shelf. I also think furniture makers just don't get it when it comes to desktop gear - we are still stuck with the computer desks from the 80's.

@@mack_solo I use VESA mounts on my Swissonic monitors, 3d printed them as the availability of the laptop mounts isn't very good at my country. I bought the VESA arms from a discount sale, I actually have two arms that can take three monitors each still unused but I can't source the laptop VESA mounts locally. Looks like the DE amazon has them now but I need 100€ worth of stuff in my basket for a free delivery. TD-3 and Crave could even be mounted with a tablet arm, they're skinny enough 🤔

@@minikuiotoko Similar here. I get my monitor arms at liquidation auctions, but I make up my brackets from angle steel (alu would work too) and particle boards cut to size. Went through couple of versions. 1st the shelf was mounted perpendicular to the VESA mount, so the entire device was in front of the mount. There were 2 issues with that: it was front heavy and would droop down, and when pushed back to the wall (my desk sits against the wall) the arm would hit the wall but the device would be away from it - so a bit of a waste of space. So the 2nd version has the shelf still perpendicular to the mount but is attached above it 1/3 over the rear and 2/3 in front. This gives better weight distribution on the mount and is more efficient on space too. On 3rd version I'm going to cover the shelf with hairy loop carpet, so when I'll stick some velcro hooks on the underside of a device, the shelf will not need a stopper at the front edge. Also I might change the mount angle from 90 to maybe 60 degrees, so the instruments on higher tiers are more vertical than the lower ones.

@@mack_solo Just remember to tape the bottom of the device and put the Velcro on the tape. That way you can get the Velcro off easily by peeling the tape off. It's still strong enough to keep everything in place 😁

@@minikuiotoko Very true for dub techno! That crave looks tasty, thought about getting one but went for the modded out TD-3 instead. Sooo many good monosynths about atm.

@@MwahMwahProductions Both kinda do the same but at least to me the td-3 cuts throug the mix better at the bottom end. Crave sounds cleaner and can go higher on the key range but needs a lot more help from the EQ to really do basslines. It does do sub bass better than the td-3 does, though. I'll probably get another td-3 just to mod it, the original 303 still has more slack, relaxed sound to it and the behringers really do go for peanuts used. I mean, I paid 118€ for mine brand new shipped 😂
