Te44 is a great turbo. It came of a tractor really ! Wish I could find two .

Great video, I'm currently trying to decide on which turbo to run on my 87 GN? I could always run the tried and true TE-44 or TA-49, but I'm really itching to bolt on that PT6262 Gen 2 and she what she can do on E85!

If your heads are not ported, the PTE6262 will not spool fast, the TE44 spool really fast, mine are ported, can't wait to see how fast the 6262 will spool!, Also I use race fuel only

@@duber3 They are the stock heads so I might be better off with the TE-44 or TA-49, I'm looking for a mid 11-sec capable car...nothing more at this point.

@@mtnhunter5578 PT54 is a great turbo, you do need I higher stall converter. GN ran 11.60@118 mph

@@duber3 Full Throttle speed internals,TA performance SE performance heads,Turbo Tweak ecu,E85 Janis transmission w/PTC converter,RJC 5 inch downpipe w/4incg single exhaust. I'm just waiting on my cam from Comp cams. For some damn reason they are taking there sweet ass time making Buick cams right now.

Bought a new precision ta49 back in the day shaft barely spun guy at pte said it has to break in ok month later. shut off car shaft stops rite away ok I returned it
