Rathborne Candles founded in 1488 is still in business. The process is the same, dipping and hand pouring into molds, but the equipment looks more modern and the factory looks a lot more tidy.

I do wonder if they still make candles this way? Probably needs only 3 or 4 people to run the whole factory.

Nice old series, but it's too bad this factory switched over to more modern materials like paraffin.

so primitive and wastefull. Thank god it was all moved to china, to fully automatic lines in clean factories.
