So glad you had a lovely break in Dublin, its where my Mom is from & i spent a lot of my childhood there. Your Aran cardigan is beautiful,my Mom knitted us many arun items & yes its an expensive wool but if looked after will last a lifetime. I have 2 of my Mom’s cardigans still & very tempted to put your purchase on my Christmas list 😉 Will look forward to your shopping trips in Edinburgh 😍

Sounds like a great trip, Dublin is my home town but I live in the north west now, love 'Cloth', it was a large shop with an extensive liberty collection some yrs ago but still nice to visit

Such a lovely video Tanya! I think you and your partner did the right thing in treating yourself with quality things from Ireland, they will last a very long time and remind you of your trip. All of your purchases were gorgeous, especially the cardigan, but I think my favourite was the tartan brushed cotton! I heard you say ”prints” about that and also the scarf, but I think it’s a weave actually…. So much nicer than a print ☺️❤️

I am glad you had lovely weekend in Ireland. We love Howth. Its our go to for lovely fish and chips and great walk on clifs. If you decide to visit Ireland again i recommend going to co Galway and co Kerry, Trim castle and Newgrange are beautiful We do a lot of site seeing/staycation trips in Ireland. So if you ever come over again let me know. I will be happy to help. The rainbow gingham would look fabulous as Helena wrap dress or Tatjana trousers both by Just Patterns Beautiful scarf, and lovely aran sweater Love your gloves. I am allergic to wool and i always envy anyone being able to wear aran jumpers/cardigans. They are fab

They are Aran sweaters. They are hard wearing and were worn by sailors. They will take a bit of rough treatment.
