Was last there in 1986, when Grafton Street was honestly much more authentic and charming, even with cars. Sometimes modernization is not an improvement. However, the city is still pretty. Hope the influx of immigrants doesn't mess it up too much and it will......

A very expensive city and if you visit Temple Bar it's over expensive in that area..A day in Dublin is plenty, then travel to the west coast where you'll meet and get to know the locals..
