Join us on the relocation of Linkspan 8!
Dublin Port recently organised the relocation of the 1,000-ton linkspan with the help of Murphy Ireland. Moving the Linkspan is a large project that must be carefully conducted to ensure the buoyancy of the Linkspan during transport.
The Linkspan was moved from Berth 53 to Berth 27 as part of the Alexandra Basin Redevelopment project. This now means Seatruck Ferries have the capcity to have 3 vessels operational at the same time in Terminal 4.
We are delighted with the seamless & safe management of the relocation of Linkspan 8, thank you to everyone involved in the move!
