Susan Gaskin - I used that line with an elder friend of mine. He didn't think it was nearly as funny or clever as I did. Probably one of my favorite lines in all the dubtown videos. But they're all incredibly well done and hysterical. I hope someday there will be a full length movie!! That would be awesome.

Great fun to hear others facourit parts of Dubtown. This is also ranking high on my list. I also cried for almost half an hour with cramps in my stomach from laughing during the "Smoking" episode. I totally died when the two woves discuss it and the one in the watchtower don't get why this is so serious news and the other says. "Nooooo - it's not the smoking, but Susan Poppadom's father is an ELDERRRR. One of the Princes. Worthy of DOUBLE honour. We get to strip him of his place in the Sanhedrin ... ahem ... I mean, the Body of Elders". I laughed and laughed so much and my wife through 16 years who was never a JW though I completely lost it and it was totally wasted on her when I showed her the clip as she just looked at the screen and then back at me in amazement. I just looked at her and I could hardly breathe and pointed to the screen while I gasped for air, and she literally looked to see if I had been smoking a splif or something since I found this so ridiculously hillarious. Oh yes the famous"pioneer walk". Once I worked with a pioneer elder, Keith Alford, and I never felt so frustrated in my entire life. He was walking sooooo slowly, my legs were aching !!! It took us a full hour to do 30 doors one next to the other. Total waste of time.

Kevin McFree I listened to a talk (called in) given by a circuit overseer and he actually did say that regarding "going ahead of the organization." Meaning, we know 1+1+1=3, but we are supposed to act dumb and pretend we don't know, and then when the GB finally come up with the answer we are supposed to act like they are G.O.D. (guardians of doctrine)

Lol,Good work Kevin McFree! I studied for a few years and participated in Kingdom Hall cleanings, helped others get to the meeting ect.ect. When I finally mustered up the strength to go door to door I got rejected for having a very well trimmed beard. Was told that I have an independent attitude. Being that I am bald headed, I felt a beard gave me an Identity. Wasn't up for shaving it off and looking like a egg head! I never turned away from searching for God. Just not looking at organized religion anymore.

They are in worse shape financially than they are revealing. The lawsuit loss, selling KH like crazy, donations are down, attendance is down, people are just not donating as much.
