I saw these guys play in a parking lot at a club in Sacramento called The Cattle Club. They sat on the ground with their gear and just handled shit. It was so fucking raw. Best show ever.

Dancing all night with dj's Jeno, Garth, Markie and Thomas, some times Doc Martin. This is what is this track is talking about. :) It was about music and undergrounds.

Thomas was like my big brother. I was such an awkward nobody (imposter syndrome, 4 real) but he always treated me like I was the coolest cat in the room. I was hanging out with Thomas by the King St loading dock one night right before Markie moved to SF and all he could do was gush about how Markie was the REAL powerhouse talent of Wicked that they all somewhat idolized. I mean they spoke about him in pretty high accolades. I was so pumped. Ands then markie played the sunrise at the Full Moon for one of, if not the first set with Wicked in America. HOLY SHIT. I mean... it was one of THOSE sets that leaves you sweaty and mind-blown. I love all of them but Thomas, IMO, is by FAR the most elegant and diverse, sound-wise of the whole bunch. His sunrises were... like church.

Thomas was like my big brother in those days. SO many nights sitting on the loading dock of King St just smoking cigarettes and chillin during the party or eating too much shrooms with him, Alan and Trish at one of the Bonny Doon Full Moon's. Good times.

Bay Area parties in the '90's were such a good time. I'm so glad FB wasn't around back then.

HomeBase, 85th and Baldwin, 2nd and Jackson, etc. I was fortunate enough to catch the tail-end of the Bay Area 90's Rave halcyon days!

bronxborn70 fb was around. It was just in it's home of NOLA. Zoolu, Freakfest are a couple of the parties fb used to throw. Most parties in the late 90's were better, in general. It will never be the same as it was in those days at that time. But hey we can still dance. All right.

This is one of my favorite singles by Dubtribe Sound System.
We use to be the minority attracted to the underground and loved the music . We move to the venue's chill out room or back room where the music evolved for the best ..... "Ho but we Dance" ❤️

This is LITERALLY the essence of our old neighborhood. I worked (well, technically still do) for Come-Unity which is named in the song.
