Questions. I’ve seen other videos just lean on kickstand and avoid draining oil. Any reason you didn’t do that? Also what gasket sealer did you use?

I have a 2105 Monster 1200, if I do the install on the kick stand will I need to drain oil?? I just had a full service oil change etc 500km ago, so oil is still mint.

How long did you heat the pressure plate with the hot air gun? How much time do you have to install the bearing before it cools down too far?

The heat gun took 5-10min to heat it up. You have to move pretty quick to drop it in so have it next to you and ready. To be on the safe side wear some leather gloves! Good luck!

Hows the performace of the ducati clear clutch cover..does it become spongy or hits false neutrals under extreme abuse ,high speeds or long rides

42Nm on the Oil drain plug ? No. The Workshop manual does say 42NM in section 4.3.2 but that is a typo. They later say 20Nm (18min - 22max) , section 3.3.2. 42nm on such a small screw might simply destroy the engine tapping for the screw ... 20Nm lads, NOT 42.
