Oh my goodness HEAVENS !! .. this video is straight pornographic !! (in a good way.. like WOW - so therapeutic to see through the assembly stage - after ALL the stripping/vapor-blasting/repairs/polishing/etc. etc. !! ) That engine is SO MECHANICALLY BEAUTIFUL !! Thank you for sharing this journey with us of terrible affliction of vintage/artistic/engineering enthusiasm. Cheers !! p.s. already have a shirt.. wish there were Back to Classics stickers/decals available [for my toolbox] on the website shop.. really dig the dark-blood-red color with the antique/bone/eggshell white color.. SO GOOD.. .. so .. would love to see some sticker / decal selection available from your website.. .. then JEEPERS !! you know what would be even cooler ??! .. various different sizes/colors/decal kits !! like ALL of the fun 60's/70's/80's/90's Ducati fonts in their different styles and periods.. .. like I would buy up hundreds of [US?] dollars for good production Ducati stickers.. (I have a humble '94 900ss/sp bike in my garage.. a lot of work at times - but well-sorted, VERY reliable.. and a joy to own/work on/ride )

Thanks for another great video! Two questions: 1. Is the nut on the bevel-gear end of the camshaft right- or left-hand threads? 2. Do you loosen the cam nut before removing the head? Or is there a special way of holding the cam when loosening the cam nut? Or is a special tool needed? Thank you

Yes, the camshaft nut is left hand thread and there is a special tool to hold the camshaft when you loosen or tighten the nut: www.ducaticlassics.com/ducati/887130433/camshaft-holding-tool

I don't understand jumping past all the important detail like actually fitting the cam and going through the shimming process, a "here's what we've already done" video isn't that informative
