Awesome news Andy, just one thing tho.... you apologised for this being another update? Firstly, updates are good man, I at least appreciate you taking the time to let us know what's going on, as many others would if not all. You also made the point about the current state of chaos around the world and complaining about not having your parts would be a bit hows it going. Well imagine what that would make us if we complained that you couldn't make videos for us to watch of you fixing your bike because of a worldwide pandemic that is killing thousands and causing total mayhem and for some towns, states and even countries to almost come to a stop and that has affected probably every industry there is which has delayed your parts so now we have to wait Even Longer? Holy crap that is a mouthful 😁😀 So PLEASE don't apologise 😀😀😀 Edit, but with that being said, I can't wait till you can finally continue with this project 😀

Glad you got that sorted as I know only too well what the Italian Ducati service is like. I ordered a MHR back in the 80's and it took over a year to get here! And then there was a long list of problems with it like a slipper clutch when it didn't have one installed, it would die in the rain and the CDI packed shat itself, and the list goes on!

Wow never knew about vee two. I know what you going through, I had to machine twenty thou off my Gs head to fix it. Wiseco said I need to get a thicker head gasket, that cut was a bit much for the new pistons. Spoke to Dale at cometic Gaskets in the states and he is making me thicker copper gasket, they are great guys there. I would also like to let people know how accomadating they are at serco in Brisbane, the Wiseco and Cometic Australian agents. They will be on the road soon Andy, eventuality

I have Vee Two engine parts in my 1977 SS. I recall the people there supper easy to deal with and the engine parts are fantastic.She will be back on the road soon. Cheers and thanks for the Channel.

Bingo! re: the valves Andy. I run a Motor Guzzi here in the UK and recently one of the most respected long running parts suppliers is in total lockdown in Italy. Just hope the poor buggers can pull through this pandemic . Hope to see you getting some miles in before winter sets in down there... daft question but, do you get snow in Taz over the winter months?

Yes we do get snow during winter in Tasmania. Usually only down to a couple of hundred feet so for the most part it’s not a problem in Hobart. Except that generally below the snow line it’s just cold wet and windy 😕
