Funny thing is, most of the extreme riders I grew up with cannot seem to get any life insurance ...

I had that issue when I went to get life insurance at 32. If I skydived or raced bikes/cars when I applied I would be denied. But if I took the hobbies up after the policy was written I would not have been cancelled.

I would be more worried about destroying such an expensive bike or the thing landing on top of me than any embarrassment over being slow. It would be a workout for sure. Maybe the "X" in Desert X is what the screws look like on X-ray when they put your femur back together?

I ride green lanes to work on my scrambler nx650, there is a nice little 15 foot mini double that i hit on the regs, does that count 😂. Hyperpro suspension is cushty

i have taken my ktm 990 on a mx track a bunch of times. was fun because of the absurdity of it. But my bike has gone on a diet and weighs 220kg wet and it has much harder springs and valving (could use harder valving on the front).

If we can get a decent ride on one... for sure. The only problem is none of the brands is exactly falling over themselves to give us test bikes because we tend to be pretty critical.
