Ducati Monster custom cafe racer - Bike Shed Show 2019

With a vision to create a cafe racer on a budget, Andrew picked up this Ducati Monster 750 as a donor for £350 and then set to work.
Doing the majority of the work himself apart from a bit of welding this is a true shed build which rightly deserved a spot on one of our plinths at this years Bike Shed Show earlier this year. Sounds great too!

Uncluttered, clean lines, back to basics. A very nice build. Although I still prefer old school dual clocks over modern digital instrumentation.

Respect for using the Koso. I wired one up to fit my 99 M900. That was a lot of wire chasing. Turned out great in the end.

Can you use the existing wire for speedo or you have to put that magnet on the wheel for speedo to fully work and mesure the speed?

There is a magnet in each rotor bolt and a pickup sensor just behind the caliper
