Hi bud. I have the 1260 and very occasionally I have had the 5th to 6th neutral. Only happens if the chain is needing adjusted. Possibly the problem is the sprocket change? Just a thought . Enjoy the bike. I love mine.
@marksavage5 жыл бұрын
now that's helpful and something I will look into, top man how do you find the 1260?, is there any real difference have to say I rode to work this morning and it just felt great with no problems
@stewartcowan58865 жыл бұрын
mark savage the 1260 is by all accounts just a little bit smoother mid range. Haven’t driven the 1200 to compare personally but I think they’re both fantastic bikes. I’ve done 4K since March and it’s a joy. I agree with infotainment comment. I have phone and sat nav connected to helmet. The Bike system only allows you to answer calls using the handlebars but it’s really clunky to connect and phone signal is not as clear. Keep up the great video content and I agree who needs a music soundtrack when you can listen to the engine. 👍

Good video, thanks. My Supersport S has an intermitent issue with false neutrals going into 5th both ways. It's a known problem on the SS. I just bought a '14 MS1200S with Pikes Peak conversion and am enjoying it...but weirdly, it's not as comfortable as the SS. Going on an overnighter Thursday / Friday on the Multi so will see how it compares on an extended run.

I am either going to get a Multi or a Triumph 1200 tiger, my next bike I would like to have for about 5 to 10 years, and go on long trips 2up, and also the odd run on my own, do you think this bike would have many issues during the ownership?

Initially it had a 70 jet in the new delorti carberator and it wouldn't reach the top speed despite it revving the right amount We then tried a 58 jet but it would rev well to around 6000 but when I fully open the throttle the engine dies We then tried a 68 jet but now the scooter won't start. The carberator is brand new and the cyclinder too. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

hi mark i’ve got a peugeot jetforce 50 and when i first ride it, it’ll run perfectly fine no problems, but as soon as i ride it for 20-30 minutes it’s as if the bike looses throttle response and power, what could this be?
@marksavage5 жыл бұрын
every time I get a question about these jetforce's its all away the same thing, they look amazing and ride well but problems when I had one it did the same and it was the stator coil going to earth but this was the problem I had with mine is your carb or injection have you serviced it . changed plug, air filter and if carb cleaned it and changed fuel lines as all these could be the problem give these a go and see how you get on if injection it can be this unit and the cdi , big problems !!
@a11s3y75 жыл бұрын
mark savage it’s carb and i’ve changed the spark plug and cleaned the carb, my air filter is a closed unit so can’t be changed, had all new fuel lines put in recently so can’t be that
@marksavage5 жыл бұрын
fuel or electric that's all it can be clean out tank and checked vacuum? ht coil or stator coil? these go to earth once hot and fail but again I had this on a speedfight and it was the plug ? odd you can get the air box apart could be as simple as tuning but you should be able to get the box apart to change the filter or buy a new one as sometimes its the simple things that fix them and this could be it!
