Really good see a review of the non “S” model. Have you played around with the pre-load settings on the front?

Nice review. Curious how the suspension comfort is on the Multi compared to your GS?

the suspension on this non electronic version is brilliant and the reason why I opted for it was because the GS was so firm and cost a fortune when they eventually give out. Best advise I can give is to test ride them back to back like I did and for me the MUltistrada came out on top on almost everything apart from wind protection. thanks for the comment though fella I really appreciate it

@@vikingventuresuk6122 Surprising. I had a 2010 GS and then in 2013 bought the Multistrada Pikes Peak. Loved the GS and nothing wrong with it, just itched for something new. Ended up selling it a month later and getting the new watercooled GS. The Multi had a new electronic suspension and it was just so stiff, extremely uncomfortable on the roads I take to get to the twisties. The GS also fit me like a glove compared to the multi which was a bit small. I'm 6'2". So was wondering if Ducati had improved the suspension since then.

@@JoeS97756 I wasn't a big fan of the skyhook suspension either to be honest but the 2018 GS I had was even worse for me so I opted for the non electronic 1260 and set the suspension myself and its brilliant. the Gs is an amazing bike but like you I'm 6,3 and on every corner i was either scraping the pegs or my boots and it lacked abit of top end power for how I ride so the Multi won me over hands down. the beauty of bikes and biking is that every bike is different and some will be perfect for you and some will be perfect for me its just the way we go about finding the right one that suits us best

I wonder if the regulation range is very different for the 1260 enduro version. The GS suspension is very dependant on the version of course but i have yet seen a stock one that really works as good as the one from Ducati. And of course the lack of feel from front wheel on tge gs - this is just something I cant feel I could ever get use to.
