Ducati's style of this bike the Panigale changed the game when it was unveiled. It is exactly what all bikes wish they would have designed.....speaking just on looks lets see how it performs in its new form 1299 against the beast of Motorcycles like the BMW S 1000RR Kawasaki's H2 another NEW BEAST and the ABOUT TIME NEW YAMAHA R1!!!!!!!! This is probably the best year for motorcycle connoisseur!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S SHOOTOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interestingly, this was all shot by professional videographers of Ducati - all of their launch footage is shot by the same team for all of the publications. Obviously the editing was done by us though - so we've got less of an excuse there :) - Steve MCN

***** It's the editing unfortunately. Also the sound levels REALLY need to be evened out across the board. We shouldn't have to play with the volume just to hear you, and then get blasted by music.

I'm not quite sure I understand the complaints. There are great shots of the bike and the commentary edits to the parts they're discussing. It's a first ride and he reports exactly what I want to hear on a first ride and in this case what everyone wants to hear... how does it compare/adjust from the shortcomings of the 1199. We're going to get a much more in depth review later on dealing with suspension, street worthiness etc. It's kind of weird to hear people bitch about soundtracks and photography. I'm here for the actual review.

Guys, your 1199 review when it first came out was the best on the internet. This is a sub-par review that was hashed together in an afternoon and the soundtrack and voice commentary was very average. I'm a big fan of your page. I know you guys can do better and for new releases like this, I think you should have gone the extra mile.

Surely 200+ hp on a bike is a suicide invitation? I'm not a motor biker but I've had sideways moments in an Mr2 with 174bhp back a few years. Surely there is no way you can use that power through tight corners? I've been thinking about a motorbike for a lot of years but i'm 47 now and I think I missed my window in terms of reflexes etc. If you can handle 200hp on a sportbike good luck to you but I don't understand how that is possible. YOu must meter out the power crazy precisely and most of it will never see the light of day. Amazing machine. Enjoy. Luv and Peace.

So was the general idea to use half of Ducati's promo shots to populate your video? That's half of it which will be generic to every "1299 Firstv Review" video coming out in the next few weeks then! As much as I appreciate watching new bike vids, and commending your efforts on getting the chance to ride one, I'm tired of MCN's half arsed reviews. Either do a proper review - even if it means using less generic (and poor quality) footage - or just don't bother!
