Having come off my Panigale due to hitting a patch of diesal existing a roundabout earlier on in the year, it's surprising how much damage you could do to yourself (even on a low speed mishap) if you're not wearing proper kit, as my leathers, gloves and helmet will testify. As you probably know the first generation Panigales had fold in mirrors and can't understand why that changed.Wishing you many happy trouble free rides on your new beauty!

Hi Graham, sorry to hear about your off, hope you are okay. I won't go out on my bike unless i have my full kit on and going into roundabouts always worries me because of spillages!!😦 ride safe, Cheers.

Nice honest vlog Sir! You only lied once tho!😂 We always need more power😂I love the V2 here, it looks so damned good in Bayliss colours. From your 3 dislikes (struggled with) the mirrors wouldn't be problem cos they would be the first bits of plastic I'd throw in the parts bin. I have to say I would love one in my garage along side my bike, but it would def have to visit the track to get the best out of it.
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
Thank you Gio👍 and yes more power the better🤣🤣, but for the street riding I do she has loads😀, she might have to visit a track one day once I’m brave enough 😂. Ride safe, Cheers.

57 and only just into my second year on big bikes and after 6,000 miles on a CBR650R last year just bought a Panigale V2 after a long (3+ hours) test rode last autumn. Yes it’s wristy but my back was fine and despite the night pegs the legs were fine too! So if you see a slightly porky older chap on a red one it might be me! Did Austria and back last year with my son on a V4S and this year he’s on a V4 SP2 while I join him on my first Ducati for Italy! It’s going to me amazing! And with 155bhp I won’t hold him up as much as last year!

Its the one thing i kind of miss from my 959 tri-options cup is the akro's, when i px for the troy. But its also nice to be able to hear yourself think, so i never bothered adding them. My 2 annoyances are. 1. The stand, (i use my hand) 2. Low speed fueling. (maybe this isn't an issue with the akros and upmap) but its very jerky and agricultural like. Don't remember the 959 being as bad. Mirrors and heat i can put up with... No biggy. I agree with you though, every time i go out on it, someone will comment, stand and stair at it or want to take A photo. Ride safe fellow Bayliss bro👌 #461

Hi Mark, Yes the Akra’s are loud but I had to go for it😄 I use hear plugs all the time and that makes it’s tolerable! I just like making a racket😂👍. Your right….I forgot to mention the low speed running, it can be a little kangaroo like at low speed🤣, with the Akra’s and map it’s a little better but I will mention that in my next video..thanks👍. Thank you for the comment. Safe riding 👍 Cheers.

Hi Raz 38, The main dealer i usually use is P&H Motorcycles, although i bought the bike from a different dealer because P&H had a long wait list for the Bayliss. If you see me over Box Hill stop for a chat and i will keep a look out for another Bayliss over there👍 Cheers.

How long did it take you to get used to the heat? I sold mine because I couldn’t cope with it, it broke my heart it really did as I had pictures of it on my wallpaper and watched every review 30 times before I got mine. I’ve had 899’s, 959 and 848’s and none ran anywhere near as hot as my v2 which was over 100 degrees in any sort of slow moving traffic…. Even now watching this I feel sad. I had one of the very first v2’s in 2020 but I found the blipper really inconsistent and buggy and the mirrors were horrendous, I was going to remove mine tbh
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
Hi, I got used to the heat pretty quick, I had a 959 before my V2 so I knew what I was in for😂, I can't notice a heat difference between the two both seem the same to me! It's just something that's never bothered me🙂. I wouldn't be without mine I love the thing🤪👍. Cheers.
@ianwarren2 жыл бұрын
That’s very sad! Would probably be worth you having the pipes ceramic coated! Keep the heat in the pipes which actually helps get the exhaust gasses out more efficiently and increases power a bit! Did some long test rides late last summer and it is hot in town but I can live with it.

Im suffering with my tensor muscles during riding with the v2. What can i do to get used to the riding position pls? I can t ride like 1 hour straight. Im riding from gas station to gas station right now . Pls any solution?
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
Hi Polak, sorry to hear that...sounds painful, I'm not really sure what to suggest.....maybe have a really good stretch out before you ride or invest in adjustable rear sets and set to a more relaxed leg position I'm not sure? I suffer from neck pain every now and then but it won't stop me riding mine🤣. let me know how you get on and if you find a way of making it more comfortable for you. Cheers.

V2 bayliss is not a slow bike , it looks like V2 S only with bayliss add on stuff , best balanced bike over all, V4 is too much honestly, after riding for couple months on V2 bayliss , you don’t need more power, just cut more weight on V2 , and still it is a lot to handle of a bike, my brother owns 2014 R1 , his bike got high flow filter and a slip on exhaust with a 520 sprocket conversion, my V2 bayliss is stock, and I still took him by 2 motorcycles in length
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
